Dean reached the clearing, he then hid in the tall grass that surrounded it and closed his eyes sensing if there were any Vamps nearby. A few minutes later he didn't sense any anywhere, so he opened his eyes and left his hiding place. He began to pace, there was no sign in the clearing that made him believe that Keeper had been there in a while. He was pissed and could feel his powers starting to flow through him again; they started in his head and rushed throughout his body, before they stopped at his hands. He stopped pacing and looked at his hands angrily, before he clenched them into fists trying to make the weird sensation stop. He could feel himself cycling between Vamp and human, as his powers continued to course through him uncontrolled. Angry and frustrated, he closed his eyes; squeezing them tight, fighting the urge to scream and lash out.

"Your powers are controlled by your emotions." Keeper's voice spoke annoyed from behind him, surprising Dean, he quickly turned to face him.

Not prepared to have Keeper surprise him like that when he turned around with his powers still not under control, he opened his hands which accidentally sent Keeper flying backward into the trees. Even though it was completely accidental and he didn't want to do it, he still smiled, as he watched the bastard fly through the air and land hard on the ground. He looked at his hands and smiled wider, before he looked back at Keeper.

"Hello, to you too, Ambrose." Keeper said bitterly, as he got back to his feet and walked towards Dean, as he brushed the dirt off of himself.

"That was awesome." Dean stated smiling, as he felt his powers settle down.

"I have to say that wasn't the greeting I was expecting." Keeper said, as he walked over to a rock and sat down.

"What can I say? You of all people should have known better than to sneak up on me." Dean pointed out, as he crossed his arms.

"You've done it, haven't you?" Keeper questioned smiling. "You're at full power?"

 "I' am." Dean replied smirking.

"I knew it, that old fool is past his prime! He couldn't even tell how close you were to your full power." Keeper said laughing.

"Wait, he couldn't?" Dean questioned shocked.

"No, he still thinks you're nowhere near your full powers."

"How the hell is that possible? How can you know, but Vassago; King of Vampires, couldn't?"

"He may be King, but he isn't well versed in matters of Chosen Ones." Keeper replied sighing annoyed. "Unlike myself; I'm what you'd call an expert."

"What the hell are you talking about?"

"As we all know, Vassago never did like to do anything that resembles work, so he had me do all the research and studying of the Chosen Ones; going as far back as the very first one. So, unlike our so-called King, I know what to look for and until now, I was the one who had kept us safe from them."

"I remember that now, you always managed to keep us one step ahead of them every single time, but you let Vassago take the glory and praise for it. Why would you do that?" Dean asked confused.

"Simple, I did it to keep myself alive." Keeper answered. "I may be a powerful Vamp, but I'm not stupid, Dean, I know I could never beat Vassago in any kind of battle...well, except for a battle of smarts of course."
