After arriving back at the monastery, seeing it Keeper stopped walking and stared at it in amazement smiling, Zander who had been helping him stopped too, the others who were ahead of them didn't notice them or that they had stopped. Seeing the strange look on Keeper's face, Zander suddenly realized that Keeper must have been there before and spoke.

"You've been here before, haven't you, Keeper?" Zander said causing the others to stop and look at them shocked.

"What?" Dean said, as he walked towards them, the others followed.

"I have, many, many, many centuries ago." Keeper answered sighing.

 "Why?" Roman demanded.

"I was here with Vassago; among others, including Watchers, we came here to the monastery searching for the prophecy that the monks who lived here were rumored to have."

"What happened? Did you find it?" Father O'Conner questioned.

"No." Keeper replied bitterly, remembering that night as if it had happened yesterday. "It wasn't here, but they did know of its whereabouts, they refused to tell us though and well as you all know our kind doesn't like being told no by mere mortals."

"What did you do?" Dean demanded angrily, clenching his hands into fists.

"What our kind always does when challenged...we destroyed them all!" Keeper replied smiling at the memory. "Vassago decided to force them to tell us its location, when none of our usual tactics worked..."

"You mean you tortured them all, you son-of-a-bitch!" Seth yelled angrily, cutting him off, as he tried to attack a still smiling Keeper, but Roman held him back.

"You mortals are such strange creatures, I can sense your anger and sadness about what we did and yet none of you were there or even knew them. It's such a strange concept, even though it didn't happen to any of you personally, you all still feel like this." Keeper said smiling.

"It's called compassion, you bastard!" Seth said upset.

"It's called foolishness." Keeper corrected him.

"Forget that, dammit, what did you do to them?" Dean demanded.

"As I was saying, we gave them all the option to give us the prophecy or suffer for their foolish refusal. When they continued to refuse, we turned to torture, yet they still wouldn't tell us anything. Vassago wanted to teach them and other mortals a lesson that they'd remember; being new to the throne at the time he wanted to instill fear into the hearts of every mortal. So, he decided that first, he'd make the monks watch as we destroyed all of their precious religious relics, before one by one we beat each of them inches from death. Once they were all close to death, we then set the monastery on fire, before we left. We stood right here and watched the flames burn everything to ground...or so we thought."

"You heartless bastard!" Roman said angrily, before he punched Keeper in the face causing him to stumble backwards a little.

"Your anger is unjust as it didn't affect any of you in any way." Keeper said confused, as he held his bleeding nose.

"Let's go inside." Dean said bitterly, before he turned and walked inside.

"You asked me what happened and I only spoke the truth and now all of you are holding it against me." Keeper said shaking his head.
