Dean raced back to the monastery at full speed, knowing the others wouldn't be far behind him. He, of course, didn't give a damn, he had a head start on them and he planned on being gone by the time they finally made it back. As he ran a sick, twisted smile never left his face as he thought about everything he was going to do to that bastard Vassago. He reached the monastery; his powers still flowing uncontrolled through him, and went inside. He quickly began gathering everything he'd need, he was beyond angry; he had only been this angry once before and that had been when Vassago had taken Roman and Seth. The only difference between then and now though, was that Dean now had his full powers. He was so focused on his revenge, that he didn't realize that without him controlling it he went in and out of his Vamp side. A few minutes later he had finished gathering the weapons he'd need and began walking to the basement, when the front door burst open and Zander came inside alone; the others still on their way. Ignoring him, Dean continued heading to the basement door, but was stopped by Zander standing in front of him.

"Dean, wait!" Zander said firmly, blocking his way.

 "Move!" Dean ordered angrily.

 "No."

"You're my brother, so I will only ask you one more time to move on your own or I will move you, dammit!"

"Dean, please, just stop and think about this for a minute, okay? You're angry and not thinking clearly!" Zander said trying to reason with him.

"Wrong, brother, this is the clearest my mind has ever been." Dean replied smirking.

"Really?" Zander challenged, Dean nodded still smirking. "Do you realize that you've cycled between Vamp and human five damn times since we started talking?"

 "You're lying." Dean said shocked.

 "I don't lie, brother."

"No, that...that isn't possible, dammit." Dean stated, refusing to believe him.

So, wanting to prove Zander wrong, Dean turned and saw a small, dirty, cracked mirror hanging on the wall above the fireplace. He hesitated for a minute, before he walked over to it; hands clenched into fists at his sides, and looked into it. Expecting to find his human side in the reflection, he was shocked to see his Vamp side instead looking back at him. He slowly reached a hand up and touched his face hoping it was just his imagination playing games with his mind. When he realized it wasn't, he quickly turned back into his human side and turned around to face Zander again.

"How the hell was I able to do that without me knowing or even controlling it, dammit?" Dean demanded.

"I...I honestly don't know, Dean." Zander replied sighing, wishing he had all the answers his brother needed. "Your powers are beyond anything I've ever known." He added, just as the others finally arrived.

"Oh, thank the Heavens; we got back here in time!" Father O'Conner said relieved to see that Dean was still at the monastery.

"I was just leaving, after I grab one last thing." Dean said bitterly, as he walked towards the basement door again.

"You aren't going anywhere yet." Roman replied, as he quickly stood in front of Dean too beside Zander, blocking his way.

"We don't have time for this, dammit, now move!" Dean yelled angrily.
