CELEBRATORY CHAPTER BECAUSE I REACHED 100 FOLLOWERS OMGGGG

I kinda feel like I'm doing too much Steve... O well.

The Avengers were jolted in Banner's lab as the helicarrier was hit with an explosive. You, Steve, and Tony were thrown across the room and into the hallway, agents frantically stepping over you. Your leg had hit the corner of the doorframe, and you heard a crack as you hit the ground.

Steve helped you up from the ground and turned to Tony. "Get the suit."

They both nodded and ran down the hallway, Steve helping you limp quickly down it.

You both made it to the engines, and Steve sat you down as he communicated with Tony, who was fixing an engine.

Your leg was seemingly broken, and your head was throbbing from the pain, so when a group of brainwashed HYDRA men appeared at the door, you were defenseless.

"Steve!" You called out, struggling to stand up.

He glanced at you, stuck in his own fight against another group of troops.

"(Y/N)!"

You finally got to your feet and lunged at a man with a grenade launcher, knocking him against the wall, but you over the edge of the walkway.

Steve rushed to the edge of the walkway, holding his hand out as you dangled some from the supports.

"(Y/N)! Grab my hand!"

You looked up, and then down, seeing as his hand was too far for you to reach, and that there were more men coming after him.

Over the strong winds and exploding debris, you yelled up to him.

"I'm sorry you had to lose me the way you lost Bucky."

"No! Don't you dare let-"

"I love you, Steve."

And you let go.

"Steve, you can't keep searching for her body. It's the Atlantic Ocean. She could be at the bottom of a trench by now."

"I am not going to give up on her."

"Well you're going to have to." Natasha snapped, grabbing his arm, and spinning him around.

"What would (Y/N) want you to do? Keep searching for her dead body, or continue your job to save millions of other people?"

Steve sighed and looked up at the ceiling, watching as the florescent lights flickered ever so slightly.

"She would want me to move on. Find someone else, and continue to help others."

Natasha watched as his emotions ran through his face. Never had she seen Steve so utterly broken. Not even when Peggy died.

She spoke softly. "She loved you, you know."

"That was the last thing she told me before she let go."

"Now you have to let go, too."

"I'm trying."

"You didn't see that coming?"

Pietro sped away in an instant, leaving you alone in the forest.

You teleported in short, silent bursts, giving the illusion to anyone watching that you were a ghost.

You then heard Wanda's voice in your head.

Samsara, I need you at the base. Now.

You took a deep breath, conjuring up energy to teleport the long distance to the tower.

As Steve kicked his shield over to Strucker, you created a portal in front of you that swallowed up the shield and spit it out on the ground between you and Steve.

His eyes flickered with emotion. "(Y/N)?"

You could hear his comrades from his earpiece question him.

"My name is Samsara."

He took a step forward. "(Y/N), it's me-"

"Hail HYDRA."

You spun around, kicking him in the face, enough to knock him down for a second. You teleported away and Strucker tried to run down the stairs, but Steve grabbed the shield and threw it at him, knocking the scientist out.

He sighed and laid his head back down on the concrete.

"Guys... I think I found (Y/N)... Alive."

"Steve, you're just tired. It's been three years since she fell thirty thousand feet into the Atlantic."

"I fell in, too."

"She's not a super soldier-"

"Tony, I saw her. She said her name was Samsara, and she had teleportation powers."

"... How do you know it was her?"

Steve shook his head although the Avengers couldn't see him.

"I don't."
