Him – an antihero who liked explosions, and didn't pay attention to anybody else.

Her – a young woman in the city, who liked warm drinks and books. Who just happened to come across the strange man while rushing to pharmacy late at night.

Wade Wilson, who couldn't manage to get her wrapped around his finger like other young ladies. At first, it told him that his charming abilities were withering. That girls just didn't see him the way they used to. Was he getting older? No, of course not. Just a few months ago, he had a normal life.

He managed to prove himself wrong, because even after he met her, he still managed to woo the flirtatious women who crossed
his path. It didn't satisfy him, knowing that she wasn't warming up to him. But it didn't bother him, either.

[Y/N] [L/N], who didn't trust his proposals for when he asked her out(on more than one occasion). To see how his eyes
wandered on not only on her body, but the chests and bottoms of other ladies, it told her that he wouldn't want to give her what she needed.

She wasn't a hit and run, she told herself one night as the man, clad in a red and black suit, held out an arrangement
of poppy flowers on the doorstep of her apartment. She could see the muscles in his cheeks mold themselves with the mask
covering his face as he grinned.

She would have accepted right then and there, laughing sheepishly before lifting the bottom of his mask so she could
peck him on the lips. She would've, and she gave it her all to resist the temptation to. She would've grasped his shoulders and leapt, expecting him to embrace her right back because she would've been overjoyed.

And she was. She was overjoyed, knowing that he was willing to look at her for once with adoration.

She would've.

But she couldn't.

Because he was an antihero, who lived for explosions and women with big breasts and saying the phrase, "Muchos chimichangas, amigos!"

And because she was just a young woman in the city, who liked warm drinks and books.

She thought this over carefully, suddenly remembering the first time she had met him. It had been late, around 10 PM or so,
when she was in dire need of more cocoa(damn her cravings!). She remembered, specifically, the panic settling in the bottom of her stomach as she saw that her cupboard was empty – devoid of any chocolate powder or syrup to put in her warm milk. Which meant
she couldn't create the perfect atmosphere where she wrapped herself in a warm sweater, cuddled on the beanbag next to the
window in a dim room, read and sipped her delicious elixir.

Thus continues the tale about how she sped frantically down the sidewalk, where Deadpool(as she knew him by a little after
they had first met) assumed she was in danger and asked if he could help. He was swiftly rejected(her tone was a little rushed)
as she told him that she had no more cocoa at home and she needed to quickly buy some. Cue the moment where she had forgotten
her wallet, and he had decided to buy the product for her.
