Chapter 21 - Desire

HARMONY POV

A sigh escaped my lips as I snuggled closer to the warmth that surrounded me. I had the most amazing dreams last night. I struggled to keep my dreams surfaced in my mind, to amazing to let slip away. I stayed that way between sleep and consciences for a moment enjoying the warm memories flood through me and my body subconsciously moved my hand to lay on my neck where my mark was in my dreams. Absently I rubbed my neck as a smile pulled on my lips, on the verge of returning to sleep. A deep husky voice jerked me to reality, "little one, please stop touching your mark it..." He never finished his sentence before I jumped up and went to run with no luck. My eyes were wide as I took in Carson laying beside me, his arms wrapped tightly around me.

I stared down at him as he slowly opened his eyes and looked up at me with a lopsided grin. "Sorry little one, I didn't mean to scare you it's just..ugh.. When you... Well when you.." He cleared his throat and I swore I seen him blush before he sat up but kept one arm around me tightly. He looked me over with sleepy yet hungry eyes before his eyes fell on my neck. He stretched his is hand out slowly and rubbed my neck, where my mark is and a moan slipped through my lips. He stopped and grinned at me mischievously. "It's our connection, it has the same effect on eve when you touch it as it does you when I touch it." His voice was barely a whisper as his eyes burned through mine with deep emotions.

I couldn't stop the shivers that traveled through my body as his breath caressed my skin or the thought that we truly did have a connection, it wasn't a dream. I smiled at him before I kissed his cheek softly. "I'm going to take a shower." I needed an escape, a chance to collect my thoughts, yes I was truly giddy with happiness but I was awake now and fully aware that my logical side was awake and shaking its finger at me. Carson placed an open mouth kiss on yay mark before he placed another soft one on my forehead. "Go on little one, I'll get you some clothes."

I blushed at his words, realizing I didn't have any other clothes to put on. I gave him a thankful smile as he slid out of the bed. I had to bite my lip to keep my jaw from dropping to the floor. My mate stood in front of me wearing only jeans. Jeans that rode dangerously low on his hips. His back rippled with muscles under his skin when he stretched his arms up above his head. His broad shoulders bunched with toned muscles and his arms were tight before his body relaxed from its stretch. I blushed more when he turned around and seen me staring.

A cocky grin spread across his face, "see something you like little one?" I turned my head away from his gaze and quickly got up to go to the bathroom leaving my amazingly hot mate standing in the bedroom laughing as I shut the bathroom door.

CARSON POV

I felt her eyes burning into my back but I ignored it so I wouldn't embarrass her but when the scent of her arousal hit me like a ton of bricks I had to do one of two things, either take her here and now or get her to put distance between us. I laughed at the thought, it wasn't natural for our kind to wate on mating but my mate was special she was different and I wanted her to be fully ready before we went further, well as ready as she could be before my wolf completely takes over after a while. Surely she wouldn't take that long? Feeling my wolf surface I spun around to face my beautiful mate, "see something you like little one?" I asked her, I could hear her need and raw emotions in my voice. Her eyes widened as she ran to the bathroom, I couldn't help but laugh at her.

Not to much longer little one and you will be running to me, I thought inwardly as I heard the bathroom door shut and lock. I groaned and jammed my hands through my hair trying to get my wolf under control. I made my way to my dresser and pulled out one of yet white tee shirts and a pair of my boxers, they would work for shorts seeing as I don't think none of yay bottoms would fit my little mate. The thought of her in my clothes with my scent wrapped around her made me growl with satisfaction. I dropped across the foot of my bed and stared at the ceiling. Trying to push the thoughts out of my mind, but the sound of her showering a few yards away in my bathroom didn't help much. As images flooded through my mind, ENOUGH I barked at myself. Get it under control.

I steadied my breathing and turned my mind to the rouge wolves that kept coming into my territory, but one in particular had my mind spinning. Something about that one made my inner wolf growl with warning, rouges normal just passed through or came to steal stuff but his one was only around when...a growl slipped out of my lips as my wolf cut off my thought. "Harmony." I breathed, every time that one rouge wolf was around it was when Harmony was around or whoever she was. My fist balled by my side as my heart began to hammer in yay chest, I will find him, hunt him down, no one will touch my mate.

HARMONY POV

The cold water running over me wasn't doing a very good job. I ran my hands over my face trying to wash out the sight of my mate looking gloriously gorgeous with his toned body and broad shoulders, his perfect grin or his husky voice at made me howl with arousal. What in the hell is happening to me?!?! Before I couldn't answer my silent question my mark slightly burned on yay neck before anger, rage, worry, fear and love hit me straight in my chest causing me to gasp for air. What in the hell!? My heart beat hard in my chest as the emotions swirled through me. 'Its our mate, he is upset, they are his feelings' my wolf whimpered to me.

Quickly I put my finger to my mark and gently rubbed it to block the emotions that were running through me from my mate. They slowly stopped but I kept rubbing, lost in thought on what would have my mate so upset. Slightly in awe at the connection we now shared. "Little one, I would stop that if I were you." Carson's low voice rang through the bathroom door and caused my hand to jerk off my mark. I remembered this morning, the effects he said it had on him. A smiled played at my lips as a boost of confidence ran through me as my hand went up and again rubbed my mark.

CARSON POV

Anger was shooting through me along with other emotions before suddenly my heart skipped and my emotions slowly evaporated to nothing. I felt relax and soothed, then suddenly turned on and extremely horny. Relaxation hit me as my eyes went to the bathroom door. My mate she had felt my emotions and was now rubbing her mark. A grinned as I got up and went to the door, "little one I would stop that if I were you." Just as the words left my mouth so did the feelings leave my body. I couldn't help but smile to myself, my mate was a shy one. I turned to walk away but lust and hunger hit me and my eyes jerked back to the bathroom door. That little buzzy is teasing me, I growled with arousal, I will have to teach her a lesson. I bit back my chuckle and took control of my hunger for her.

Quickly I pulled the bathroom door open and walked in, "little one, it's not smart to tease me." My voice was low, husky and raw with hunger. I heard her gasp as the feelings left my body, I knew she had stopped touching my mark but it wasn't enough, hearing the water slide over her body had a new desire shooting through me. Without another thought I pulled the shower open and wrapped my arms around her wet naked body, pulling her up to me. I felt her fear and shock before pure arousal swarmed around us. "Little one, you are playing with an alpha, be careful what you do." Though I intended it to be a warning, my voice didn't hold the threat it only held my hunger and desire.

What she did next had me howling with desire. My little mate pressed her wet nude body up to me, her arms went around my neck and her lips crashed on mine, demanding and hungry. I met her with the same emotions and pulled her closer. When we finally broke for air I seen her eyes were dark, her wolf was almost in control. My wolf growled at me as I pulled apart from her and wrapped a towel around her. "Get dressed little one." It was extremely hard to do, but I knew she wouldn't want this if her wolf wasn't in control.

I shivered as I laid my forehead on hers and placed a small kiss on her ear nose, "in good time little one, in good time, you and I mean you not your wolf will be begging for it."

HARMONY POV

I was thankful he stopped us, my stupid horny animal I cursed inwardly. But when he kissed my nose and his breath warmed my face I felt my body quiver with need. "In good time little one, in good time, you and I mean you not your wolf will be begging for it." His voice was low husky and a warning. I bit my lip to control the moan that rose, he was right, I knew it and he did to.
