Chapter 7

Stella~

I woke up to the birds chirping... Ugh i sound like one of those preppy girls from a disney show.. oh wait, I just sound like Riley. Anyway i woke up and changed into my outfit of the day, which was a black rolling stones tee, my black jeans, a camo jacket, and my black combats. i was walking by the girls' room when i hear kissing noises and slam open the door,
"LUCAS GET OUT OF THE ROOM!!!" I scream as I do, Maya and Riley are both sitting at the bay window and I see them trying to not to laugh and I laugh nervously,
"He's not in here is he..?" I ask.
"Nope but now that you're here, maybe you can help me on getting Riley to talk about what happened!!" Maya tells me desperately,
"Is she not talking about it?" I asked worriedly and move to sit next to Riley.

"No! And the world has stopped everything and is waiting for Riley and Lucas to talk about it!" Maya says/whines.
"Riles.. Why haven't you talked about it?" I ask her putting my hand on her shoulder.
"Well did you talk about your first kiss?" Riley asked me
"No, but because I was too afraid of change.. But both me and he boy I kissed have grown up and moved on from it," I tell her.
"Oh.. Who was your first kiss auntie?" Riley asked trying to be nosy but also stalling.
"Don't stall Riley.. You'll have to talk about it sooner or later." I say getting up and going to the kitchen. I walk in and see Cory and Topanga sitting at the table with Auggie.
"'Morning family" I say happily and grabbed an apple and headed for the door.
"Where you headed?" Cory asked me,
"Uni, some of the girls asked me to hang out with them."
"But they're witches!" Cory says rushed
"I see where Riley gets it from.. but no. They are not witches, if they were that would make me a witch. I'll be back soon, don't worry."
"Girls?" Topanga asked before I closed the door
"In their room!" I yelled back

"Riley... Who was your aunt's first kiss?" Maya asked curiously
"...I don't know actually.. maybe my parents know." Riley says confused, "Let's go ask them."
"Maybe we shouldn't.."
"Why not Maya? Don't you want to know?" Riley asks her
"Yes.. But if she didn't tell us, shouldn't we respect that?" Maya says obviously
"Yes.. But maybe it would help me open up?" Riley says to get Maya curious.
"Alright then." They both walk out looking for Riley's aunt and see she's nowhere to be seen.
"Mom, dad?" Riley asks quietly
"Yes, Riley?" Topanga says looking up from her papers,
"Do you know who my aunt's first kiss was?" Riley asks with a smile on her face. Cory's head snaps up and he looks at Topanga worriedly.. Knowing that if Stella didn't tell them, then maybe they shouldn't.
"Umm not that I remember sweetie. Why don't you ask her when she comes back?" Topanga suggested
"YES!" They both say and head out for school.

Stella~

I got a call from Cory saying I should head to work now since he is. I got there a few minutes than he did in his sensible sedan.
"I remember you buying the car from Feeny you know" I say laughing
"Oh hush yourself"

The rest of the day was just paperwork after paperwork. Until i heard talking in the halls. I walked out to see my niece and Lucas standing there.
"What is going on? Did I just get my first boyfriend?" I hear Riley say
"I dunno, what just happened?" Farkle asks Maya
"I dunno, but I can't wait to see what happens next."
Then I walk towards them.
"What's going on here?" I ask with my hands on my hips
"Uhhh nothing.." the group says together.
"Uh huh. Right. It sounds like peer pressure to me. Anyway, girls, I'm heading home. See you girls later. But before I go, Riley, can I talk to you for a second?"
"Sure.." I take her over to a corner where they can hear us.
"I know what they are doing, and I also know how it feels.. but I'm here to tell you that its okay to not want to be a couple, its okay to not be something. Don't give into peer pressure because you want to be liked. If they are your friends, they will be happy with the decision you make." I tell her and i kiss her forehead, grabbed my bag and headed for the door.
"Bye auntie.." I hear them both say
"Your aunt's cool Riley."
"I know. She's the best." I heard he say as I smiled to myself.

I got home and see my sister with a little boy on her lap. I was barely able to hear her last sentence..
"....Do you know what that water is called?"
"Morning Doy."
"What?" I ask myself and I turned and see my sister ready to explode as Auggie and his new friend run off.
"What is that little boy's name?" I ask them
"Doy." Cory says
"How do you spell it?" I asked him
"D-e-w-e-y"
"Isn't it pronounced 'Dewey'" I asked a little confused.
"Hush!!" Cory says.
"Well then." I say and head towards the fridge.

We hear the door open and i turned to see Riley and Lucas are holding hands and walking stiffly,
"What's wrong with you guys?" I ask with a pb&j in my mouth.
"Is this about the kiss I heard about?" Topanga asks
"WHAT?!" Cory yells
"Did you guys give in??" I asked concerned.
"Yes.." Riley says
"Let go of each other!" I say looking at the awkward hand hold.
They let go, "The right pressure can turn coal to diamonds." Riley says
"Yes Riley, but the wrong pressure ca also turn you into dust.. Do you want to be dust?" I say to her and they both shake their heads.
"Well then, I think you know what to do." Once they leave, I head to my room and talked to Josh about what happened today and he laughed on the other end..
"What are you laughing about?" I asked him
"Oh nothing.. it just reminded me of what happened in middle school when we were that age." he says to me
"No! Stop it! " I tell him laughing, "We are never to speak of that. We were so young." I say remembering that day.
"You gotta admit though, I was a good kisser" He says laughing
"Oh please! Out of the both of us, I was the better kisser." I say joining in with laughter.
"Why don't you tell them? It could probably help them with what they're going through.."
"I will, well, if they ask that is."
"Bye Stells"
"Bye Joshy"

When the girls got home, Maya and Riley both came into my room and sat on my bed,
"Yeeesss?" I ask looking up from paperwork.
"Who was your first kiss, Aunt Stella?" Riley asked, I sighed and put th papers up,
"Josh,"
"WHAT?" Maya and Riley both yell.
"WHATS GOING ON?"
"WE HEARD SCREAMING!"
"I'm just telling them who my first kiss" I tell my sister and brother-in-law.
"Oh, alright, continue." they both shut the door and leave.
"My uncle Josh, was your first kiss."
"Yes."
"I knew I shouldn't have trusted you!" Maya says to me and leaves. Riley goes after her but i hold her hand, i hold her back..
"She's going to your room. Let me finish." I tell Riley and she sits back down, "The reason Josh and I never worked out was because we gave into peer pressure.. that's why I warned you about it. We are best Friends Riles.. I would never do anything to hurt that. We were little kids, we were around your age. We were confused and young. It's okay not knowing who you are, what you are going to be, or who your boyfriend is. In the end, the only thing that matters, is you." I tell her.
"But, were you happy?" She asks me quietly..
"I was, but then the wrong pressure was applied and we couldnt handle it.. so we became dust.." I say sadly with a tear falling, i quickly wiped it,
"You should probably go see Maya now.. Goodnight Riley." I say to her getting up and leading her out.

"Goodnight Auntie Stella."
