Ok this really late, but I'm trying! To the story!
[Pat's PoV]
It had been weeks since I'd escaped my father and went on the run. All I'd been able to do was wait. And honestly it sucked. Just sitting around waiting was the most boring thing in the world. The only good part was it gave me time to make a proper campsite. Ever since I ran from the castle I'd become a wanted criminal in the Twilight Forest, I even had proper wanted posters with a bounty and everything.
As I was sitting in my tent when I swore I heard a portal open. Cautiously I stepped outside. My sword drawn.
{Jen's PoV}
As I fell through the portal my dress was replaced with armor made of silver and a beautiful pink metal I'd never seen in my life. This was part of the magic of the Twilight Forest, as a place of battle it would properly equip anyone there for a fight.
Standing next to the portal I got to see the beauty of the dimension. The trees stretched to sky and were much taller than anything from my home. The sky seemed to be in eternal state of Twilight. (I have no idea what the Twilight Forest actually looks like, so if I'm wrong please just go with it.) I heard something behind me. I whirled around, drawing my weapon. It was now a scythe with a handle about as tall as me and a pink blade longer than my arm. Standing there was a man. He wore dark colored armor decorated with sculls and was holding what looked to be a diamond long sword.I recognized him almost immediately but he spoke first,
"Jen?"
AHHH!!! THE CLIFFHANGERS!!! Ok, um, so I'm not gonna try to put a dead line on when I update next, because that isn't working. I'm really just gonna try and update as often as I can. But, on another note: you guys are absolutely incredible! This story is almost at 1000 reads! Keep being awesome! And have a good day/night!
