We've traveled together, my Bible and I
Through all kind of calamity with smile and sigh
In sadness and in prosperity, in persecution and gladness
Over the land and over the sea
My Bible is my GPS and my compass
I used it, night and day
Whenever I'm in need of directions
I plug into my Bible for some inner inflections
Each time I search its pages, new treasure I find
I'm acquainted with the author and their virtue
I cling to every words because it doesn't lie
I believe in every promises, line for line
The book contains the mind of God
The state of man and the way of salvation
It warns against ungodly ways and temptation
And Satan's savoury messes and plots
This book will keep you from sinning
Conffesing this book terrify the devil
Loving the words, ratify the covenant
Living by faith, glorify the Lord
Generation follow generation, yet it lives
And this book speak the truth and reveal
Life on earth is impermanent
Next to this is everlasting life
