BROOKLYN'S POV.

I feel warmth under my head and beside me as someone pushes back my hair.

"Brooklyn?" I hear a voice whisper in my ear, making tingles go down my spine. I don't answer, I just turn more into the person, because only one person makes me feel like this. This makes him next to me chuckle, "Cat, wake up, time for practice."

"Hmm?" I hum as a hand rubs my cheek lightly.

"Brookie." I hear the voice clearer this time, and my brain remembers everything then. What did I tell him last night?

The better question would be what didn't I tell him. I was so tired I am pretty sure I ended up telling him that I haven't been able to sleep. If he knows I am that worried about it then that means more training, which I don't want.

I open my eyes and see Dick smiling over me, "Good morning."

"How do you wake up this early?" I groan and turn away from him despite thinking he is incredibly cute in the morning. His morning voice isn't going unnoticed (or unappreciated) either. He snakes an arm around my waist and pulls me up into a sitting position.

"Practice, and it's only 5:30." He points to my clock.

"5:30 on a weekend. It's a cruel hour," I exclaim dramatically. This only makes him smirk, the little asshole.

I fall back onto the bed, making him pull me up, holding me by my waist, "Come on, I will be outside." I start making a sound of protest, but he stops me and says, "Change." Before my poor sleepy eyes can make out him leaving, he is gone.

My first thought is to wipe the sleep from my face, then I realize; I slept. No bad dreams, no waking up with worry. I slept, and I am sure it has to do with Dick. The last time he stayed when I was sleep was after I was stabbed and had a nightmare. I went back to sleep, which I can't do without having the same dream again. He stopped it. He must have such a calming effect on me that I can even subconsciously feel it.

Looking out the door crack, I can see him through the window, waiting for me. And looking out for danger.

'Fail:Catgirl'

"What is wrong with you?" Damian shouts more than questions. "You were fine last night. Pull yourself together."

"Damian! Stop it." Nightwing scolds, having enough of Damian shouting at me, which has been all morning. I push myself off of the ground and huff.

Pushing my hair out of my face, I get ready again. Which is really pointless, because they are going harder than they have ever, guess I screwed up last night.
