Chapter 9:

Rydel- Riker and Ross were fighting over who gets to... do the dishes

Mark- okay

Ross- yep (runs upstairs and quietly goes into Laura's room) hey Laur

Laura- promise me you guys will stop fighting

Ross- it really bothers you this much

Laura- you're fighting your own brother

Ross- you're worth it

Laura- no I'm not

Ross- you are

Laura- (sighs) I should just move away. Everyone would be happier.

Ross- no everyone is much happier with you. You're the best thing that's happened to me in a long time. I love you

Laura- I love-

Riker- (walks in quietly)

Laura- (noticed he's there but doesn't let him know) I'm sorry but I love Riker

Riker- hey Laur

Laura- hey

(They walk out of the room and go into their room)

Riker- did you mean what you said

Laura- what

Riker- that you love me not Ross

Laura- yeah, I realized that I love him like a brother and I really love you

Riker- (kisses Laura) let's go to bed (lays downs and pulls Laura onto his chest and falls asleep)

Laura- (quietly walks downstairs and lays on the couch) I can't do this

Ross- (walks downstairs) hi

Laura- hey what's wrong

Ross- (sits on the couch) did you mean what you said about Riker

Laura- (gets up and sits on Ross's lap) no, I love you (kisses him)

Ross- good (wraps his arms around her waist) what's Riker going to say when he realizes you're gone

Laura- I'll tell him I couldn't sleep which is true

Ross- well I'll leave so you can get some sleep (sets Laura on the couch and goes to leave)

Laura- wait! Stay here

Ross- okay (sits next to Laura until she falls asleep then goes to his room)

Ross- (walks downstairs) hey Laur

Laura- (watching TV) hey

Ross- what are you doing today

Laura- nothing

Ross- we should go on another secret date

Laura- we go on secret dates everyday
