Chapter 16:

~the next day~

Laura- (wakes up to see Ross not sleeping) you're already awake

Ross- I haven't gone to sleep yet

Laura- you need to get some sleep

Ross- I can't

Laura- why

Ross- I can't stop thinking of our future with our babies and what our lives will be like when these babies are born

Laura- stop worrying and go to sleep

Ross- I love you (falls asleep)

Laura- he's the best (turns on the TV to see a bad car crash) Ross wake up

Ross- what

Laura- Riker was in a car accident

Ross- (gets up and runs downstairs) we have to go to the hospital NOW!

(Everyone gets into a car and Ross and Laura get their own and they drive to the hospital)

Ross- my brother was in a car crash

Doctor Wilson- please have a seat in the waiting room and someone will be by to update you shortly (walks away)

Stormie- (crying) my baby might die

Laura- (starts crying)

Ross- it's okay

Laura- I know the babies have you but I want them to know their real dad but they might never get to meet him

Ross- (pulls Laura onto his lap and holds her tight) he's going to be okay Laur

Laura- (gets up and starts walking around)

~10 minutes later~

Laura- Ross...

Ross- (stands up and goes over to her) what's wrong

Laura- my water broke

~5 hours later~

Dr. Wilson- (hands a baby to Ross) here is your beautiful baby boy

Ross- I thought there was two girls

Dr. Wilson- there is (hands Laura two more babies)

Laura- we have 1 boy and 2 girls

Ross- they don't look like Riker

Laura- they look like you

Dr. Wilson- is there a problem

Laura- we thought these babies weren't his

Dr. Wilson- do you want a paternity test

Ross- I want to know if these babies are mine

Dr. Wilson- okay (takes the babies blood and Ross's blood) I'll be right back (leaves and comes back 30 minutes later) you guys are right! The babies are Ross's

Ross- (smiles) well what do you want to name them Laur

Laura- I like Carley and Olivia for the girls

Ross- what about Carson for him (looks at the baby he's holding)

Laura- I love it

Rydel- (walks in) hey guys

Laura- do you want to hold her

Ross- or him

Rydel- there's 3 of them!

Laura- (laughs and hands Carley to Rydel) that's Carley

Rydel- hi baby. I'm your aunt

Laura- you're so good with babies. How was your date last night

Rydel- good. We went to dinner and the movies. It was great

Laura- hoes Riker

Rydel- they haven't told us anything recently

Laura- he's probably okay. He's strong

Rydel- well who are the other babies

Laura- this is Olivia

Ross- and this is Carson

Rydel- those are great names (hands Carley back to Laura) I'm going to see if they said anything else about Riker (leaves)

Rocky- (walks over to her) they said he's hurt really bad and could die

Rydel- (starts crying and goes back into Laura room) they... said he... could... die

Ross- (hugs Rydel) everything will be okay

Laura- (starts crying)

Ross- (walks over to Laura and hugs her) it's okay Laur

Dr. Wilson- (walks in) your babies have to go now

Laura- can't they stay. Please

Dr. Wilson- sure. I'll be back to check on you later (leaves)

Rocky- (walks in) he just got out of surgery and the doctor said he should be fine (walks over to the babies and picks up Carson) you had triplets

Laura- (smiles) yeah (yawns and falls asleep)

Dr. Wilson- (walks in and checks on the babies and Laura) you guys can go home in a couple days

Ross- thank you

Dr. Wilson- (smiles and walks out)
