Chapter 27- one more month

Two months later
Natsus POV
"Natsuuuu!" I could hear april calling me from the couch. "Dont worry i know!" I called to her from the kitchen. For the past couple months she has been drinking alot of orange juice. I filled a large cup before bringing it out to her. She was reading a book on the couch. She had on the red magical glasses and her chesnut brown hair was up in a messy bun. She looked up at me and grabbed the cup out of my hand. Before going back to her book she groaned, "im huuungry," she smiled up at me innocently. She pouted and her nose scrunched up a bit. As soon as i looked into her emerald green eyes i melted. "Okayy~" i told her sweelty. "What do you want?" She looked up at me, "you can guess," i bent down and pecked her on the cheek before going back to the kitchen "you know what she wants-" happy said to me. "Yeah yeah". Ever since the quadruple wedding ceremony that took place a month ago, Erza has been making lots of strawberry cakes and she gave everyone in the guild a few. Ever since shes done this april has been eating them constantly. I took a plate out before using the knife to slice a sizable piece of cake. Once i put it on the plate i grabbed a fork and brought it out to april. As soon as i walked into the room she folded the top of the page in her book and set it on the coffee table. She sat up slightly and took the plate out of my hands as i sat down next to her. She began eating the cake and looked at me with a mouth full of cake before saying, "you know, i never thought erza would be so good at making cake," she told me. I wrapped my arm around her waist before speaking, "well maybe she made yours extra tasty for the babies," i told her. Last month porlyusica ran a test and determined that we would have a little girl and a little boy! We have already decided on the names and set up a nursery and play room for them. "Yeah i guess. I cant believe how many sweets ive been craving~" she purred as she licked the frosting off of her lips. I thought for a moment before responding, "how about scarlet?" I asked her. "Scarlet, what?" She cocked her head to the side. "Rose scarlet, scarlet can be her middle name," she looked at me quzically before i went into further detail. "Well erza baked all these cakes for you and it seems like the twins are loving them. Plus she is a close friend of ours. Also flare has scarlet hair too and shes their godmother!" She looked in thought for a moment before answering, "okay." She took another bite of cake, "okay?" I asked her. She nodded her head slowly. "Awesome! Rose scarlet dragneel!" I said. Slowly she looked at me before speaking, "why dont we switch it?" She asked. Switch it? "Rose scarlet sounds kind of odd," she said. "Why not scarlet rose?" I thought for a moment. That is way better than my idea!! "But i thought you wanted to name her rose after your mother?" I asked her. "Well rose is still in her name, plus i think my mother would understand," we sat there for a few moments until she finished eating. She sat the empty plate and fork on the table then turned and looked at me. "Well what about eider?" (Pronounced eye-der) she asked. "Eider? What kinda name is that?" I responded. She giggled slightly before answering, "it is what they call a small patch of water in a frozen tundra," she told me. "Since gray is the godfather and juvia is our close friend-" she stopped and looked at me waiting for me to get it. "Water.... And cold??" She said sarcastically. "Well i think it would sound nice," she finished. She picked her book back up and rested it on her large belly before reading again. "Well why not just winter?" I asked her. "Eh thats too common. But i guess-" she said. "It doesnt matter if its common, it just matters that we put our love and thought into it," i told her. Finally she nodded her head and responded, "very well, igneel winter it is." Before we could talk more about baby names there was a knock on the door. "I got it," i told her.

Aprils POV
Natsu got up to answer the door and i kept reading. My book was about a princess locked in a tower cliche, right? And she hears rumors that there is someone coming to rescure her. When she is finally rescued she is surprised because she isnt rescued by a prince or knight or anything, she is rescued by a fire breathing dragon! I love this story because it reminds me of natsu. I cant wait to read this to our children when they are here. Thankyou levy. I heard people talking and a few footsteps approaching so i flattened my hair with my hands and sat up. Who is it? "Wow you are getting a belly!" I heard natsu say. Wait is it- "april!!!" Just then three people came into the room and mira flung herself onto me in a bone crushing hug. "Hey hey" laxus scolded her. "Calm down before one of you squeezes out a baby," slowly mira released me before sitting down on the couch next to me. "Oh wow look at you!" I said to mira as i rubbed her belly that was beginning to poke out more. "So youre what- three months now?" I asked her. "Yes just about," she replied cheerfully. "And laxus-" i was about to get up and hug him but he put his hand up to stop me, "no dont bother standing. You girls need to rest," he told me as he bent down and gave me a hug. "It sure has been a while, hasnt it?" Natsu said casually. "Well yeah building a nursery takes a long time," mira said cheerfully. "Yeah a month and a half to be exact," laxus corrected her. We sat there talking for a few moment until we heard another knock on the door, "once again-" natsu said while standing up, "ill get it." He walked into the other room to answer the door. Once again i heard talking and footsteps approaching. "I am happy to hear she enjoyed them," erza!!!! As soon as they entered the room i stood up without hesitation and grabbed erza. "Erza!" I yelled excitedly as i hugged her. She hugged back before pulling away, "and jellal!" I said as i gave him a hug. "That cake was soo yummy," i told her. She smiled but before she could say anything mira spoke up, "no joke! Ive been eating those like crazy!" We all smiled at how the pregnant girls loved erzas cakes. Jellal cleared his throat to get everyones attention. "Well you see the thing is," he spoke. "I started making all of the cakes because i was craving them and-" erza stopped in the middle of her sentence. Her face was tinted light pink while jellals whole face was bright red. "I now know why i have been craving them," she finished. She looked up at us and i noticed how taken aback laxus was. Mira smiled brightly before asking, "so how far along are you, red?" Erza blushed again before grabbing jellals one hand and saying, "about two months!" "What?!?!" Everyone single one of us gasped. "How are you-" natsu started to speak. "But youre so-" i couldnt finish my sentence. "But mira is so-" laxus stopped himself before he got in trouble. ""Whaaat?" Happy flew around her belly inspecting it. "Why are you so skinny, then?" Mira finally asked the question we all had. "Well im not sure," erza spoke. "But porlyusica said that it is just a normal pregnancy, either way." Jellal finished. We all sat talking about what we were going to name our children and what the guild would be like with all these rugrats running around. Soon flare dropped by and gave us some great news. "Whaaat?!" We all asked, astonished. "Yeahh, dont worry it will be close enough to both guilds, so we wont have to travel much," flare told us. "But you and-" i stopped mid sentence. I never would have thought lyon and flare would get this far in their relationship. "Weve been dating for about four months now," she told me. "Besides its just an apartment that were going to be sharing," she told me. After we all calmed down we talked until it got dark outside. Eventually everyone went home and that just left me and natsu. For the thousandth time i read the book to him before we headed up to bed. When we got into the room and undressed and got into my hideous maternity night gown. "Gah- how come pregnant women clothes are so gross?" I complained out loud. "Aw now dont be like that," natsu said to me as he watched me get my nightgown on. "You look great baby, i promise." He told me as i got into the bed next to him. He extended his arm and gave me the perfect place to rest my head. He wrapped his arm around and used his other hand to gently rub my belly. That night i fell asleep with my head on his shoulder and his hand rubbing my stomach. I cant believe in less than one month i will be having his children.
