jungkook breathes out, typing to his father. on my way home from practice, he wrote.
he slides his old flip phone in his jacket's pocket, rubbing his hands together. it was late fall, chilly winds sneaking in right around the corner. he observes the steam in the air coming from his mouth, skipping on dark-lit streets in his neighborhood.
the crows loudly proved their presence, creating an eery atmosphere. he turns around a few times, just to shake off the feeling of being watched.
jungkook had always been the sensitive kid in the family, often called a crybaby. mostly nowadays, he'd hold quiet about his concerns, just so the teasing would stop. even if it wasn't intentional.
he holds his breath when he hears heavy steps behind him, feeling immobilized. his mind becomes into a state of panic and his mouth goes dry. the footsteps also stop, and that's when jungkook makes a run for it. he sprints as fast as he can, without even bothering to look back. jungkook felt his heart burning and lungs straining, feeling extremely frightened.
he runs and runs, until his feet ache and is out of breath. he discreetly sneaks into the backyard of a family that he is well-acquainted with, thinking that whatever was after him would give up.
but to his dismay, a hand sneaks up covering his mouth. jungkook immediately starts kicking, screaming with all his might. this 'man' drags him a darker section of the yard, making the raven haired male fear his next step.
he helplessly tries to struggle out of the mans hold, only to realize formations from practice miserably failed. his heart was beating against his eardrums, breath growing hitch. jungkook now went all shaky, limbs turning limp and knees buckling.
why doesn't my body move as i tell it to do?
