Ever since you had been dating Codi, Kakashi wan't his normal self anymore, you hung out with him like normal, but everytime you did, he seemed distraught about something, you asked him about it, but he just passed it off as being tired or stressed from missions; even though he hadn't been on any major missions. But he did have his own life, you didn't know what went down in his own mind, even if he was your bestfriend. You were trying to think of something to cheer him up.
'His favourite meal? Nah, you tried that already, didn't work'
'clean up and/or decorate his apartment? No, hes not a big fan of decor, and knowing him a clean apartment wouldn't last long unless I'm living with him. So that won't work'
'A new book maybe? hmmmmmm, the only books he reads are those orange perverted ones, so I think not'
You were in deep thought when you were startled by a knock at your door. You jumped a little, as you were too far away in your own mind to focus on anything else. you shook your head and got up to the door. When you opened the door you were suprized by someone
Kakashi? no
Codi? nah
Guy? nope, not even him
A girl, a girl you didn't know. She had light grey eyes and bright blood red hair that was in a ponytail. She had a black choker necklace on her neck along with silver earrings in the shape of hearts. She had a shiny face that had simbolized crying
"Are you ok? What happened?" you asked, concerned
"I'm... I'm so sorry, I didn't know" she cried, wiping a stray tear from her face
"What?" You asked, thinking this girl had you mixed up with someone else
She took a deep breath, calming down slightly
"C-Codi, I didn't know he wasn't single, he said that there was no one else, I honestly didn't know, I'm so sorry" she said, crying again
You expected the worst, it looks like the only that changed about him was a prettier face that convinced you that he was better
"I'm so ashamed of myself" she said as she started to walk away, sobbing
You shook out of your state and grabbed her by the shoulder
"Wait, no. Please dont blame yourself, come and have some tea" you said, hoping she would take you up on your offer
She took a deep breath again and looked at you
"Are you mad? please dont be, I really didn't kn.."
"No, its his fault, not mine or yours. he knows what situation he was in when he made his choice, its his fault and his only" you said
The girl smiled and hugged you
"Thank you, thank you so much" she said, very elated
You guys had tea, long story short, he told her that he wasn't dating anyone else and, well.. I think you can picture what else happened. You weren't really upset or angry, just more irritaed for ever agreeing to date someone you hadn't seen in 11 years and just expecting them to be a pefect human being.
"I came here because he was with another girl, I couldn't just let that slip without you knowing. It wouldn't be fair" she said, a little more confidently
You sighed in frustration
"I've got some things that need to be taken care of" you said as you got up from your seat
