You sighed as you sulked into a chair you sat on in the Bunker's library. You had just come back from a hunt, unsuccessful in saving a high school student from being a Kitsune's dinner.

"[y/n], what's the matter?" Sam asked, sitting at the table and opening his laptop. "What's the matter... What's the matter?!" You nearly yelled, "Sam, we couldn't save that guy from the creature. I thought our job was to save lives." You crossed your arms.

"Not everyone can be saved. At least we got rid of the Kitsune. She won't be eating on any other brains any more," Dean explained and took a sip from the bottle of beer he had in his hand, "I'll take that part as a win."

"But we didn't save him..." You felt guilty. Sam sighed, "You did the best you could. We all did, but there was no chance for his survival." He gave you a soft smile.

You pulled your legs up and hugged your knees. You wanted to cry because of the guilt, because of the hopeless feeling you had inside you.

You were about to storm off to your room when you heard a flutter of wings. It brightened your mood a bit. "Hello," The familiar, monotone voice said.

"Hey Cas," Sam greeted. You peaked up and saw the Angel walk closer to you. You put your head back down, only to be tapped on the shoulder moments later.

"What is the matter [y/n]? Are you not feeling well?" Castiel asked with concern. You lifted your head and the Angel pushed the strands of hair off your face.

"You've been crying," He said and looked to the brothers, who did or said nothing but stared at you.

Castiel wiped your tear stains with his thumb, "Are you okay?" The muscles in your face twitched at Castiel's touch grazing your cheek. "I'm... Fine," You lied. "No you're not," Cas said and held your hand.

He pulled you up slightly and you grew confused by his action. "What are you doing?" You questioned as you stood up. "Come with me. I have a cure for your current emotional state," Castiel said and you followed. You turned back to the boys, who were also puzzled with Cas's behavior.

He walked you over to the deeper end of the library. You were three tables away from where Sam and Dean sat. The Angel looked you in the eyes and held you hands, as if to ball dance.

"What are you doing Cas?" You asked, demanding an answer this time. He moved closer towards your ear and whispered, "Dean told me that dancing helps to change someone's mood from sad to happy. I know how much you like dancing."

You could feel your cheeks glowing red. "Even though I can't feel emotion, it hurt me to see you sitting there like that and thinking about the case you finished," Castiel explained as he swayed you from side to side, "It felt peculiar to see you, such a happy and energetic person, suddenly sad and dull."

You didn't realise it till now but you two were actually dancing. You were distracted by how close Cas was to you that you didn't hear or notice the brothers leave the room.

You rested your head on Cas's chest and you wrapped your hands around his neck, his were around your waist. "You're one of the nicest people I know Cas. You're everything a friend should be," You told and you could feel Cas smiling.

You shut your eyes, enjoying the moment till you heard something.

"Is that... 'Can't Help Falling In Love' by Elvis Presley?!" You questioned with surprise as you listened to the audio playing from a phone. "I guess Dean probably played it..." Cas replied.

I'm going to kill that asshole, You thought.

Dean knows all about your crush on the Angel in the trench coat. He made it his life's goal to get you both together. He probably saw this as the perfect time to-

"[y/n], do you like me?" Castiel asked, interrupting your thoughts. You smiled, "Of course I do. How can I not like you? You're my friend."

Cas frowned, "I mean to say, do you love me, if it makes it more clearer?" You paused. It had never occurred to you that Cas would ask you such a question. It had never occurred to you that maybe Cas likes you, or in his case, loves you back.

"Umm... Well, I-You see it's-"

You abruptly stopped as his lips touched yours, making your whole body warm and tingly. You gripped his collar hard and his hands moved into your hair.

Everything was synchronized. You didn't care about the world around you, it seemed as if it didn't exist. This was what you wanted ever since you met him.

He pulled away suddenly, just when you wanted more. "I'm s-sorry. I shouldn't have done that. I must... I must go," Castiel hurried and turned around sharply. You held his hand tightly, "If you're worried about how I feel, I'm okay. You don't know how long I've been waiting for that."

He looked at you and tilted his head, trying to read the mixed emotions you displayed on your face, a mixture of happiness, surprise, satisfaction and a yearning for more.

"I'm very fond of you [y/n]. You are an intriguing and beautiful woman," Cas revealed, making you blush. You wrapped his tie around your hand and tugged on it, bringing him closer.

You pulled him in for another kiss, this time, unlike the first, you were well aware of everything happening around you.

"Guys, are you done? Can I take my- Oh..." You heard Dean talk. He stood there in silence watching the two of you in your moment for a few seconds. "Never mind... I'll come back later," You heard his footsteps as he backed away slowly.

"SAM. SAM! OH MY GOD! WHERE THE HELL ARE YOU?" You heard Dean attempt to whisper as he scurried out of the library. You mentally rolled your eyes and smirked.

Oh that asshole. He isn't going to leave me in peace after this, you thought.
