"Daddy! Mommy!" Your six year old son came into your room and started jumping on the bed. "Someone's up early," Jared sat up straight and rubbed his eyes. You looked towards your bed side clock that read 9:03 AM.

Your two year old daughter woke up and stood in her crib, watching her brother jump around.

"What's wrong [y/s/n]?" You asked as you sat up and crossed your legs. You put on your black, wooly cardigan due to the cold weather.

"It's snowing outside!" He said while running to the bedroom curtains. He pulled them to the side and smiled widely. You patted your husband on the hand and he looked over as well.

The ground, as far as the eye could see, was covered in all white. It looked so cozy. It was snowing lightly, the sky was pale.

"Well, snow... That only means when thing," Jared said and grinned at you and your son, "A day outdoors!" Your son was so happy that he leaped about. Even your daughter clapped happily.

It didn't snow much where you lived. Currently, you weren't at your home. The family was having a vacation in the snowy mountains. Jared was off from Supernatural, they had just finished shooting the latest season. Right now, you were staying in a wooden lodge.

"[y/s/n], go put on a warm sweater and wear your coat," You told, "Daddy, [y/d/n] and I will get ready too!" Your son ran out of the room and you smiled. You turned to Jared, who was looking at you.

"What?" You asked. He held your hand, "I would have liked to stay here for a little bit but..." You smirked. "You're the one who said 'a day outdoors'," You mimicked him, then pecked him on the lips.

You got out of bed and took your daughter out of her crib. Jared took her from you and you went to put on some warm clothes.

"Noooo! Please!" Jared yelled, "My fortress in breaking apart!"

He and [y/s/n] were having a snowball fight, or more suited, snowball 'battle'. You smiled at them and turned back to your daughter. You were building a 'snowdaddy' with her.

"What else is missing from the snowdaddy?" You said as you looked at he pile of snow intently. "Daddy has... Daddy has long hair," Your daughter said as she pointed to Jared, "The snowdaddy doesn't have long hair."

You pulled her into a hug and she giggled. You spotted some twigs and dried leaves near your lodge and asked your daughter to get them. She placed the twigs and leaves on top of the snowdaddy and it actually started to look a little bit like Jared. It already had pebbles for eyes and an indented mouth and nose. You had poked a few tiny holes and sprinkled some twig shavings to create Jared's stubble.

"Ahhhh!" Jared exclaimed, followed by a loud THUMP!. You turned around startled and held your daughter in your arms. "Boys, what happened?" You questioned loudly, unable to see both of them anywhere.

You stood up and saw that your son had tackled your husband to the ground, tickling and punching him. You laughed. You were unable to see them due to the hills of snow they had created from their battle.

"Hello warriors! Finished your snowball battle?" You asked as you walked towards them, [y/d/n] on your hip.

"Just concluded it," Jared said as he sat up, flicking his hair out of his face. He shook his sons hand and pulled him on his lap, "I think we can call it a tie." You son grinned and nodded.

"Well, me and [y/d/n] have something to show you daddy!" You said proudly and walked over to the snowdaddy.

You put your daughter down, who ran excitedly to show her daddy what she made. "Daddy, Daddy! I made you!" She announced and smiled widely.

"Wow! It looks so much like me, [y/d/n]," He said and smiled. You turned to Jared, "It's called a 'snowdaddy'." Jared chuckled and picked his daughter up and kissed her on he cheek. She giggled.

"Thank you [y/d/n], I love it!" He said. "Mommy made your beard," Your daughter said and rubbed Jared's cheeks slowly. He laughed, "I can see that! Very nice." He winked at you and you smiled.

"You guys play a bit more out here if you're not feeling too cold," You told your son and daughter. "Mommy and I are going to have a cup of coffee," Jared said, "We'll make hot chocolate when you finish."

"With marshmallows?" Your son asked. Jared messed his hair up a bit, "Of course, sport!" He said a victory 'Yes!' and ran to a pile of snow.

"Take care of [y/d/n], please!" You called out, "And stay where we can see you!" Your son held your daughter's hand, "Yes Mommy!"

You and Jared walked hand in hand inside and took your jackets off. You still had your sweaters on. He wrapped his arms around your waist from behind and kissed your neck.

You both stood close to the large, almost covering the whole wall, living room window, watching your children play outside.

"This is a good vacation," You said and kissed Jared on the cheek. You both stood close for a while, swaying a bit from side to side.

"Now... Will you let me make us both some coffee?"
