You walked into the house... Mansion is a better way to describe it. You and Dean were impersonating a couple called the 'Jones'. You were 'Samantha Jones' and Dean was 'Daniel Jones'.

You clinged onto his arm acting as if you were married to him. You were careful that you didn't step on your black formal gown. You loved how it felt on your skin, smooth and silky. You especially loved the slit on the side.

You were on a case involving an item that the famous 'Stephens' family had. It was a cursed object, a 19th century necklace of pearls and diamonds. It was linked to one of the Stephens' family members and she was killing other members of the family as revenge for how they treated her.

Dean loved the fact that he was your husband for the night. You'd catch him staring at you... At your body specifically, as if you were some sort of delicacy. It was annoying at first and made you feel uncomfortable, but then you started to like the attention.

"Samantha! Daniel! How lovely to see you both!" A woman, probably in her late fifties, greeted you both with a wide smile. She hugged you one by one and you reminded yourself to stay in character.

You and Dean were lucky that you looked closely like the real 'Jones'. You were even more lucky that they weren't coming tonight, enabling you to pull of the scheme easily.

"How nice to see you too! How's the family?" You asked and she smiled. "The family is good," She replied, "How are you doing? I heard about you being pregnant. Congratulations!"

You have Dean a confused look but it was interrupted by the woman hugging you. "This is so great! I am so happy for both of you. Preparing to broaden the family, huh?" She said and smirked.

You laughed nervously. "Well I must go. I need to check on my husband, to see if he isn't drinking to much," She laughed and you and Dean chuckled. The woman walked away, leaving you both standing alone.

Dean and you started walking ahead, when he leaned closer to you. "You're pregnant?" He whispered close to your ear. "Apparently yes," You said and raised your eyebrows. "Who's the dad?" He smiled smugly and you rolled your eyes, nudging him a bit. "You, silly!" You said, "I mean, the real Daniel is."

"Bear it iz," Dean said, with his mouth full of food. You rolled your eyes, "This is the fifth time I'm telling you to act a bit presentable. Stop eating!" He frowned while staring at the two other pieces of pastry in his hand.

"Anyways, what did you say?" You asked and he pointed at a glass cabinet in the corner of the hall room you both stood in. "There it is, the necklace," Dean told and you nodded. "We need a distraction so we can take it," You said and pondered on a plan.

"Hmmm..." Dean said and just then a man passed by with a tray of spicy shrimp on toothpicks. "Oh hey, um..." He stuck his hand out and took four toothpicks of shrimp, "Thanks!" You crossed your arms and stared at him with disbelief. "Oh, do you want some 'honey'?" Dean teased and stuffed the food in his mouth.

"Stop eating Dean!" You whispered fiercely. He sighed, loving the food being served at this place. "Okay I have a plan. Just follow my lead," Dean said and grinned. You raised an eyebrow, hoping that his plan didn't involve more food.

Dean walked towards the center of the room. "Attention everyone! Can I have your attention!" He announced and everyone turned to him, "Because there aren't enough drink glasses present with waiters right now, grab on of these delectable 'food-picks' in honor of this grand gathering!"

Everyone looked at each other, wondering what the hell this psycho is talking about. "It is a tradition in uh... It's a 'loustrisenberg tradition' on which this house's owners from more than two hundred years ago followed," Dean flinched at his make-believe story. You rolled your eyes and giggled.

Once everyone was occupied in Dean's talk, you made your way through the crowd towards the darkened back area where the necklace lay in the glass cabinet. You opened it slowly and slightly and took it out, stuffing it into a pocket you wore on your leg where your slit was.

The job was done quickly and successfully. You made sure no one saw you.

"...And I find this mansion a wonderful reflection of its wonderful owners," Dean gestured to the woman you had met earlier and her husband, Mr. and Ms. Robinson.

You walked back into the crowd and gave Dean a discreet thumbs-up. He nodded slightly and said, "A toast to the owners and their lovely house!" He ate the olive and cheese snack in his hand happily, three more up next.

Everyone cheered and clapped, then dispersed as they finished eating their snacks. "Mr. Jones, I wasn't aware of the extensive knowledge of this estate," Ms. Robinson said and Dean smiled, glad that these people were as gullible as they looked.

"Well, I do love this place. It is fascinating to read about," Dean said and you walked over to him and hugged his arm.

"I think we should go home honey," You said and kissed his cheek. In the process you whispered 'I got it'. "Oh how come?" Mr. Robinson asked. "It's getting late and I think Daniel has had enough to eat," You raised an eyebrow and Dean frowned.

"Oh but you both would miss the grand dinner after an hour," Ms. Robinson said and Dean brightened a bit.

"We should be going love. Remember tomorrow's schedule?" You said, trying to make something up, "We have to meet that family and all?"

Dean nodded slowly in realization, acting obviously, and held your hand. "We should be going. Thank you so much for tonight. It was a pleasure to be a part of this," He said and you shook the Robinsons' hands and walked towards the exit.

The Impala was parked slightly away. You were not surprised when Dean exited with his hands full of olives and cheese and spicy turkey on toothpicks.

"Oh my God Dean! How much can you eat?!" You laughed. "But it's so good!" He said and stared at his hands. You kissed him on the cheek and twirled to the other side of the car.

"Why are you so happy suddenly?" He asked, munching on his first snack. "Because we got the necklace!" You sang and took it out from your small pocket tied to your leg. You showed it to Dean and grinned.

"Let's go get rid of that ghost!" You said but Dean shook his head. "I need to finish this first," He told and you smirked. You leaned over and took a few pieces.

"Hey!" Dean complained and you ate the food. "Then I should help you. Anyways, I need a reward for getting the necklace," You giggled at his serious face.

"This is actually nice! Can I have some more?" You asked and he backed away defensively. "Oh come on Dean! Just one more," You said but he sat in the Impala and locked the doors.

You were stuck outside till he finished his snacks. When it comes to food, Dean would do anything to have it all to himself.
