Sam walked out of the shower, a towel in his hand to dry his hair with. He's never felt so relaxed.

"[y/n], do you want to have some lunch?" He called out as he walked towards the library. He searched the room for any sign of you but all he saw was an open book and papers scattered on the table.

There were red stains on few of the papers, which disturbed Sam. All relaxed feelings were slowly drifting away. Without another thought he paced around thinking about all the disasterous scenarios that could have happened while he was resting and then taking a shower.

Sam was a little bit paranoid these days, due to the lack of sleep and the traumatic situations they had just been in. Dean and you couldn't figure out a way to calm him down or help him out with his psychological state.

But Sam was sure that something had happened to you. All the evidence was there. You always answered when he called your name but right now you didn't.

He paced through the Bunkers corridors, calling your name repeatedly. He could feel his mind going crazy, everything started to spin.

He approached your room. He dreaded what he'd find inside, a bloody mess with your corpse on the floor motionless.

He shut his eyes but opened them sharply because he heard a voice. It was you.

"“Good Morning!” said Bilbo, and he meant it. The sun was shining, and the grass was very green. But Gandalf looked at him from under long bushy eyebrows that stuck out further than the brim of his shady hat."

Sam came bursting into the room. He was breathless and terrified.

"Oh, hello Sam! How was your rest?" You asked with a smile. He looked at you then looked at the other party in the room, the Angel Castiel.

"You're... Okay?" He said, relieved and confused at the same time. "Of course baby, why wouldn't I be?" You said and looked to Cas.

"Can I talk to you for a second?" Sam asked and you have Cas the book in his hand. You followed Sammy out of the door and he shut it behind you.

"I thought something happened to you," He said in a scared tone. You held his hands and rubbed them softly. "I'm perfectly fine. I was reading 'The Hobbit' to Cas. He does that sometimes. He brings me a book and asks me to read. He says I have a lovely voice," You explained.

"You do," Sam said and ran a hand through his hair. He was extremely stressed. You caressed his cheek and kissed him. That seemed to calm him down a bit.

"I was scared that I had lost you," Sam said and wrapped his arms around you. "Sammy," You hugged him tightly, "You can't let this control you. You hallucinating and thinking about all sorts of things... It's not healthy."

"Dean and I are searching. He's gone right now to talk to some people. I just asked Cas to look around and try to find some information," You explained, "It will be fine. All we need from you is to be focused and most of all, stay relaxed."

You kissed his cheek, "I had lunch already. Let me finish the chapter then I'll sit with you."

You walked back into the room and Sam made his way to the library. He looked at the stains again and dipped his finger in it.

Jam, he thought and chuckled.
