The speed with which Eira climbs down the ladder amazes me, like she has been doing it her whole life.
But I am rather slow, by the time I reach down, Eira is nowhere in sight. I call her name and search for her, but people look at me like a wierdo.
I finally give up and walk home, her last words echoing inside my ears.
A wave of fear hits me every time.
