71.
I get quite a long lecture on reaching home, from my dear mommy. Lily looks extremely proud of her achievement. I don't care though, I know mom is saying all this in front of Lily to stop her from shedding all the crocodile tears.
I get to my room and immediately turn on my laptop.
As the Google logo appears on the screen, I don't know what to search.
Oh man. I don't even know her second name.
I think for a while searching for keywords.
Eira. Loses family. Victoria street. High school. Suicide.
I fill the search box with as many vague words I can get. Suicide should be the best guess. A lot of families had been doing it lately. I sigh to myself.
But no useful results come up.
I change the suicide to accident. And add her brother's name into the search bar.
15 year old loses family in accident.
The first news pops up. I quickly open it and for some weird reason, my heart is thumping as the page loads.
And then the net crashes.
Bad timing.
