Chapter 5- The Message

Lucy's POV

( skip school)

I was going straight to the bus until someone called my name.

"LUCY!!!"

I turn around and see Mark running towards me. I stop and wait for him.

"Why are you running?" I ask.

"To catch up on you", he says panting.

"You know the bus is big so there's a lot of places to sit", I say.

"Yea I know but I wanna sit with my princess", he says smiling.

Did he just call me princess? I can feel that my face was turning red. I look down and smile.

"Well uh, let's get in before it gets way to packed", I say walking off.

We start walking to the bus when he starts to hold my hand. I look down at my hand then look up at him.

"What are you doing?" I ask.

"Holding you hand", he says.

"Why???like I mean we're not together but like why???" I say.

"Well why not", he says scratching the back of his neck.

I roll my eyes while smiling and we continue to walk. We finally get to the bus and took the seat at the very back.

(Skip bus ride)

We both got off and we headed home... still holding hands. It was finally time to let go because we got to my house and he had to go to his house.

"Bye!" I say.

"Bye baby girl!, he says.

I smile and went to my house. My parents are both at work so I was home alone. I decided to text my friends in our group chat.

L-Lucy K-Kate H-Hannah B-Brooke

L- wassup girlies!!!
K- wassup Bae!!
H- hey guys!
B- what's up!
K- hey Lucy, I saw you and Mark holding hands today. Is it official?
L- no it's not and we're just friends.
B- whatever.
H- well guys I have an announcement...
L,B,K- what is it???
H- IM NOT SINGLE ANYMORE!!!
L- OMG WHOS THE LUCKY GUY?
B-yeah who is it?
K- whoooooo?
H- Blake!!!!
L- OMG IM SO HAPPY FOR TOU GIRL!!!
K, B- yea so are we.
L- well uh guys I gtg, have homework to do.
K,H,B- k bye!!!

I put my phone down and start doing my homework.

( an hour later)

I've finished my homework and I've done packing it up. I lie down my bed and then I got a text from someone.

"Hey baby girl, it's Mark, what ya doing?" I smile.

"Nm, just finished homework and just lying down my bed...hbu?" I ask.

"Just here admiring your beautiful face", I had a confused look.

"How I'm not even there"

"Your window" I look through my window and I see him waving. I wave back and we smile at each other. My parents are still at work because they would normally have work till  11. It was starting to get late so I decided that I need to sleep.

"Hey Mark, I gtg it's getting late so I think imma go to bed now", I say.

"Ok then baby girl, goodnight"

"Goodnight"

I put my phone down then I get a text from Mark.

"I LOVE YOU"

I smile and went to bed. I love him so much.
