Lucy's POV

it's been three weeks since I heard about Mark kidding someone else. Kate, Brooke and Hannah have been comforting me and for me and Mark, well I kinda ended things. I still do kinda love him but he's dating the girl he kissed. I think her name was Loren. Besides she was say more prettier than me so they'll last long. I'm at the park sitting on the basket swing (I don't know how to explain it but I think it will show up if you search it). I was on instagram and I saw a picture of Mark and Loren. I frown until a familiar voice said,

"Your looking a bit gloomy"

I look up and I see Tom. I smile and look back at my phone. He decides to sit next to me.

"What are you doing?" I ask.

"Can I not sit with you?", I sigh and nod.

"You know Mark is a jerk for leaving you", he says out of the blue.

"How did you know I broke up with him?" I ask out of curiosity.

"Well let's just say it's not hard to find some drama when our school is literally 99% gossippers", he says.

Tom's POV

I kinda feel bad of doing this because she looks terrible. There was an awkard silence until my phone got a message. it's from Loren.

(L- Loren T-Tom)

L- hey boo!
T- you seem happy
L- well I am
T- what happened?
L- Mark bought me flowers!!!
T- aww cute
L- I was just walking to go the park then I saw him headed to the playground. He saw me and smiled and I was like omggggggg!!!!
T- ok cool well I gtg so I'll see you later
L- ok see ya

conversation ends.

I look back up to see Lucy but she isn't there anymore.

Lucy's POV

while Tom was on his phone, I sneakily got out of the swing and surprisingly, he didn't even notice which is kinda weird but I went with the flow. I quickly ran out of the park so he won't see me until I see Mark and Loren. they're getting ice cream together. I didn't realize I was staring at them until I notice Mark looking at me.

"Are you okay?" he mouths ( I don't know how to explain it).

I nod but I'm not actually okay. I walk out of the park and I started to cry. I regret ending things with him. I miss him. he's obviously moved on and I'm just here cryin in the corner. as I walking, while sobbing, someone taps my shoulder.

"Can you just leave me alone for one second To-", I turn around and I see is Mark.

"Sorry I thought yiu we're Tom", I say.

"it's fine, uhm why are you crying?" he asks.

"I'm not crying", Im a bad liar

"yes you are, your eyes are red", he exclaims.

I stay quiet.

"Uhm Lucy I need to tell you something", Mark says breaking the silence.

"hm", I say.

"You've probably moved on already but I- I still love you", he says.

my eyes widen. I was about to burst into tears but I kept it In. I hug him and whisper,

"I still do love you too", I say.

I let go until I realise,

"wait no what am I doing? your already dating someone else I can't rui-", I get cut off.

"shhhh, I broke up with her, she had been a really clingy and very demanding ex so I ended things with her", he says.

he hugs me and I hug back. We both look at each other and we kissed. We both pull away and smile. We continue walking while he sneakily holds my hands.

"your so adorable Marky", I say.

"Don't call me that"
