Dumb/Cliché Fanfic Thing: Pet Names
I've read quite a few stories where you (the reader) don't have a name, your lover just calls you "Honey", "Babe", "Baby", "Baby girl" or something else (this is after you get together).
Like, I don't know about you but I have a name. Once in a while you can call me a cute name, but for crying out loud! I wouldn't be surprised if I forgot my real name!
And the thing that makes it worse is that you always call him by his name. That literally might be worse than calling him nothing but a pet name.
"Hey baby!" ~Lover
"Hi Thomas." ~You
