Dumb/Cliché Fanfic Thing: Hospital Stays/Comas
Honestly, I don't know why so many stories have comas in them. And at the same time, when the person wakes up from the coma, their crush is always sitting in a chair next to them asleep OR that's when the crush admits they like coma-person.
A) Not likely to happen
B) No, just no
C) It's way overused, get a new idea!
And another thing worth noting: if the person is in a hospital, make them stay as long as it would normally take.
"Well, you've got a broken leg that we need to fix but you can go ahead and leave the hospital whenever you want!" ~Doctor
*Leaves hospital* "Hey, my legs all better and I can do everything I'd normally do!" ~Person
"But weren't you just there for breaking it a couple minutes ago?" ~Me
"Yep." *skips off into the sunset* ~Person
