Dumb/Cliché Fanfic Thing: Use Of Words
When the author says words, or implies ideas, that don't make sense together. Like 'I don't believe in wearing makeup', when a person's personality is 'shy but sarcastic', 'applying light makeup', and 'I'm ugly'. [The last one is there because I think everybody is good-looking :) ] Those are just a couple, but I'm sure there's many more out there.
One I actually saw that made me so confused was, and I quote, " 'Hey Y/N.' He frowns with a smile." He frowned.....with a smile?! How does one accomplish such things!?!?
