Pale slim fingers entwine with brown ones as the owner of that hand is dragged away from the school into an awaiting car. Blushing slightly she looks up at her liberator. Gray eyes look into fading blue ones. Either teen says a word as they sit in the car. The silence they shared was not an awkward one, there was no tension. The male panted softly as he was not use to running. His hand still firmly held onto hers. He knew he should probably let her hand go now, but it was soft, kind of like a teddy bear.

As he thought back to the events that lead up to this moment. He found himself slowly moving in closer to the female

I'm not sure why I am doing this. It's very out of character for me and yet it feels right. Maybe it is because she's helpful, brave and caring. Or it could be the fact that she's quiet, thoughtful, much like me. Then again she is also reckless and risky like Mello. This girl is peaceful if she's left alone, however if provoked she's dangerous and deadly. I should know I've been observing her for sometime now.

It's quite easy to tell her mood by just looking into her lovely eyes. If they're dark midnight blue she's upset, very upset. if they're fading she is calming down and if they're that unique mixture of silver, gold and spotted blue then she's fine.

I remember the first time I laid eyes on her. It was mid November the seventeenth of November to be exact. Roger, Mello, Matt and I had just moved into a medium size house that wasn't to far from the schools we were to infiltrate. Mello complained about having to work with me. Matt laughed and played his game while stating that this was like a secret mission or level that he would be complete in no time flat. While I walked around the house looking for my new room.

Upon finding my room I start to dig through the boxes of toys until I heard crying and yelling. *meow, meow, mewl mew. "Come down from there you butt head!"*  Curious I head towards my bedroom window and look out to see a tiny white kitten stuck in a tree, it looks terrified. As it kept climbing higher as a  girl around eighteen or nineteen yelled for it to come back down. "Damn it  Zia Lee get out of there! You could get hurt! And I'm not going to be the one that explains how you ended up in the hospital. I swear to god if you don't get down here right now *huffs and stumps her foot* you damn.....CAT! I'm leaving" *turns, huffs again and walks away*

She's talking to it like it's a person. Swirling a lock of hair I think to myself on how I could get the kitten. Maybe I could talk Roger into letting me keep it. Slight movement in the tree stopped my thoughts. *eyes widen slightly, body tenses*  I watch in horror as the kitten starts to fall. However to my delight a gloved hand reaches out and catches the little creature before it could fall to much.

A girl around my age maybe a year older is in the huge oak tree. How did I not notice her? She gently holds onto the kitten while slowly making her way back to the branch she was sitting on. Once she makes it back to the spot, she gently turns so that her body is mainly hidden and she can lean again the tree. What an odd girl, but this has nothing to do with me. I went back to unpacking my things.

A few weeks later I saw the girl again, while Roger and I were out getting more dice. Mello had stepped on one of mines and decided to throw them all out. This time she was sitting under the tree with that same albino kitten, it was resting on top of her wine red colored hair. Her eyes are closed and she almost looked relax if it wasn't for the group of annoying teens that was harassing her. The group of teens were pointing and laughing at her. Calling her crazy cat lady and saying things like "I bet she shits in a litter box with them"

*Deeply chuckles as a hand reaches out to grab the kitten, only to stop once the girl growls slightly and opens her darken eyes. They're breathtaking, yet scary, they make the streaks in her hair stand out and her skin glow. She gently takes the kitty and places it in her backpack before standing up, ready to fight if need be. A woman with black hair and big brown eyes calls out to the group, causing them to disperse. However the girl stays in her spot as her eyes move toward the woman. Nodding she heads into a bakery.*
