Decision ~ You go look for Josh
Your Pov
Ignoring Matts statement I pulled my jacket closer to me and headed out into the snow to find my best friend.
"Here she goes again!" I heard Emily say. "We're gonna need a search team in about 10 minutes!"
I rolled my eyes and turned around, making eye contact with Emily who was standing in the doorway. I flipped her off and continued down the path.
"Josh! Josh?!" I yelled, cupping my hands around my face. "Where are you?!"
I pulled my jacket tighter around me and shivered. "Holy shit it's cold." I complained out loud.
I whimpered and tried to warm up my hands, because I didn't bring any gloves. I groaned and continued to call out for Josh. "If you're going to jump out and scare me please just do it know! My fingers are going to fall off soon!"
I heard rustling in the bushes and figured it was Josh. To my surprise, several deer pounced out like they were running from something. I screamed and fell backwards, trying to avoid getting trampled.
Once all the deer had passed I stood up and brushed myself off.
"(Y/n)! (Y/n) where are you!?" I heard someone yell.
"Over here!" I responded.
Chris and Josh came into my field of vision I sighed in relief.
"(Y/n)! Thank God you're okay!" Josh yelled as he ran up to me, pulling me into a tight hug, causing me to wince slightly.
"You alright?" Chris asked.
"W-we heard you scream." Josh added, releasing me from the hug.
"I was coming out here to look for you, Josh. I was worried, you disappeared." I frowned.
"I told Chris that I was going to greet Mike and Jessica." Josh explained.
"Why didn't you say that??" I asked Chris, slightly pissed.
"I must've forgot, I'm sorry." Chris defended himself.
"Why'd you scream?" Josh wondered, taking off his gloves and giving them to me.
I smiled slightly at the gesture and pulled the gloves over my hands.
"There were these deer, at least a dozen, they jumped out of the bushes and nearly trampled me. But I'm okay."
"Let's get you back to the lodge." Chris spoke up, unfazed by my story.
Josh discreetly held my hand, causing me to blush. I looked at him from the corner of my eye and he was giving me a cute, side smile. I smiled back as we continued our walk back to the lodge.
