(Your pov)
Zalgo shook my hand and the door appeared again.
"Follow me please" He said
"Sure?" You replied
This hallway was different than the one you were in before you met Zalgo. The stone walls continue down further and at a certain point they become cobblestone walls. We pass a few other..."people" that worked for Zalgo. They were scary to be honest. Horns, extra limbs, missing limbs, no human look whatsoever. We go down a spiral stair case and then stop at a big metal door.
"Give me your hand?" Zalgo asks
I reach out my hand and Zalgo carves a symbol onto the top of my hand. It doesn't hurt weirdly enough.
"This will stop you from hearing them. I'll give you something that lasts longer in due time but this will have to do for now" He tells me
"But I can hear you" i state
"Yes" He says
"Why don't you want me hearing them?"
"Their words are poison, spells, magic" He says " some of them can make you their mind slave and have you betrayed me"
He opened the door and you can hear muffled shouts. You look at the symbol as you walk inside. The hall is different (the hall looks like the hall in picture) there are cage walls but he opens them with his mind. We open this last door and inside there are cages full of scary looking people. He goes further down down this scary room. He stops at a big long cage
"These will be the unwilling fighters for tomorrow" He says stopping at a cage holding three men
One of them whispers something at me and then snarles at Zalgo realizing he put this symbol on me. They looked like they were ready to rip my heart out.
"What if they don't cooperate?" I ask
"You'll use this" He dangles a necklace from his fingers. It's a purple gem but it doesn't look like amethyst or any other type of gem I've ever seen "test it out" He hands it to me
I put it on and I feel...weird...I don't know how to describe it. I just feel weird.
"Go on, point at one of them" He says
I point at the man that whispered something at me. Suddenly he is lifted into the air and is twice as talkative. Gosh he's mad.
"Telepathy?" I ask
"Telepathy" Zalgo answers
"How do I put him down?" I ask
"Snap your fingers" He says
I snap my fingers and he drops to the floor. He mumbles something.
"Where are the willing ones?" I ask
"This way" Zalgo says turning left and out another door.
In this room there are just as dangerous men and women. Holding knives and weapons of all kinds. There was a woman with a clock in her eye socket, wait a second...... WAS THAT WAS THE CREEPYPASTA CLOCKWORK!?
"Is she the real deal?" I whisper to Zalgo
"Who?" He asks
I point to her
"Her" I say
"Yes, she comes here often to make bets and even fights in the rounds herself" He answered
"Now" Zalgo snaps his fingers "I'll show you to the brake room"
We are now in a long hallway. It's wide enough for me to be able to walk beside him. Down the end of the hall is a door. Zalgo hands me a key.
"Attach this to the necklace I gave you" He says setting it in my hand "the room is based on who you are and after ten rounds you'll be able to go and see it"
"So this room is different for everyone?" I question him
"Yes, everyone has their own little dimension to relax in"
"Wow"
"Yes, those who work here get a good life" He says with pride "oh and when you're able to go to your break room you can even get to work faster"
"What do you mean?"
"Let's say you're at school and you want to work, you go to any door that has a keyhole and put the key in the slot. The door will lead to your brake room and then when you exit that room out a different door you'll come out to this hallway"
"This....this is amazing" I said astonished at what he told me
"So I'll need you to come in tomorrow, we'll have 4 people signed up for you to take to the ring 1 willing and the 3 unwilling you saw in the cage" He says going back the way he came I followed him "now let's show you the path to the ring"
(Narrative pov)
We went down a few more Halls and before we knew it we were back at the room where I saw Clockwork. We entered a few extra halls and soon enough we reached the ring. Zalgo is right this ring was almost a hundred percent like the Roman Colosseum! There was a fight currently going on it was bloody and there was no mercy involved. The fights may be dangerous and even the fighters maybe even more dangerous but $500 for each fight? It would be insane to deny this opportunity!
Zalgo showed you around at told you where everything was he even sent you home! He shook your hand once more and then you blacked out. You woke up on doorstep. It was evening and the sky was shades of red and orange. The sun must have just recently setted.
"Welcome to the team" Zalgo's said in an echo but was nowhere to be seen. You look at your hand and the symbol was starting to fade. You'll have to ask him for a new one when you get back. The key and the neclace were still with you.
