You look down into the abyss as you stand on the edge of the space you have. There is darkness if you fall. The cliff in one direction have the proxies while in the opposite direction you see Zalgo and the demons you worked with. A bridge links the two sides together. And you stand in the center. The bridge has no handlebars and moves extremely easily.
The obvious choice was to be a proxie. You took the first few steps towards Slender. You tremble in fear of falling to the dark unknown.
"You're not afraid of the dark Y/n" you tell yourself "wouldn't be the first abyss you fell into"
Suddenly the bridge shakes pushing you off to the side. You hold onto the edge of the bridge for dear life. You see the source of the bridge shaking was an unwilling fighter chasing after you on all fours. Cursing in your head you knew that you had to think fast. You look at Slender's side and see him ... Waiting?
"Fine, its a deal!" you shout
You get the feeling of approval as you hear the fighter snarling. He's right above you and bites at your hand, your only support for holding onto the bridge.
"Ouch!" you rip you hand away and start to fall
"Fuck off asshole!" a voice screams
From Slender's side of the bridge you see he is pointing at the fighter and Toby has launched himself fourth tossing one of his hatchets in the process. The hatchet lands in the fighter's shoulder. Toby drops to his knees and you see Masky running up from behind him. Toby braces himself as Masky jumps over Toby and putting the fighter into a choke hold. Your hand is griped onto, you look up. It's Toby, he caught you before you became unreachable! With strength to swoon a girl he pulls you up and holds you close. His arms wrap around your waist with a passionate urge to squeeze you tight in a loving embrace. But that urge must wait. You stare at down at the bridge as you feel the blood rush to your face.
"Y/n, you good?"
"Y-yeah I'm good, I'm g-great" you blush
"Hey" he chuckles softly "I'm-I'm the o-one with the-the studder here"
"I'll kill her y/n you don't want that now do you?" Zalgo shouts from his side
"I-" you start
"You have no power over this child's mother!" Slender interrupts
His faceless face looks down at you and gets on one knee so he isn't so far away from what eye contact he can give.
"Come now" he asks "he has no control over you ... "
Slenderman makes his way back to his side and you hear him quietly mumble
"For now"
A quiet and soft gasp escapes from your lungs. You bite your lip out of frustration and shake your head.
"Thats a worry for another day" you tell yourself "now is time for change"
"Are you okay?" Toby pops into view "he bit your hand!"
He holds up your hand and desperately looks for injuries
"Are you bleeding" he asks
"I'm oka-"
"Did he poison you,
"Toby I-"
"any bite marks?" he quickly asks
"TOBY!"
He flinches and shakes his head
"I'm ... Sorry"
"No no" you smile "don't worry about me I'll be fine"
Your eyes lock with his and he pulls you in for a tight hug
"I was so fucking worried" he trembles in his words
"Children" Slender shouts "come on"
Hes walking onto the cliff and further away
"Y-yes sir" Toby answers with rush "come on y/n" he takes hold of your hand
You rush with Toby over to the others and Slender.
"You don't purposing to y/n yet?" Jane pops beside Toby
You blush looking down and remembering Toby's "plan" in that vision. Masky and Hoodie laugh as they tag along beside you.
"Shut the hell up Jane" Toby rolls his eyes
"H-hey guys" you shyly smile
"Welcome to the team y/n" Masky replies
"Hope to work will you soon" Hoodie continues
Jane smiles and points ahead "there's the border!"
You look ahead and see what looks like to be the start of a forest. You all walk into this new place and walk on for the next hour. Your legs grow tired and your slow down a little.
"Hey, we're almost there" Toby holds your hand slightly tighter
You non and see a barrier, somewhat magical in its appearance.
"What is this?"
"Its the border" Jane answers
"Its what keeps humans out of our territory" Hoodie adds
"You should be fine passing through" Toby says
Everyone passes though but you. You reach a hand out and your hand gets shocked when it passes through.
"Fuck!" you yell "that hurts!" you rip your hand back
"The barrier is notifying you as a human ... This is a problem" Slender takes a look at your hand "you'll have to stay in a separate location while we figure out the problem"
Masky pulls out a map and Slender points to a spot on the map.
"Station yourselves here until given new orders"
"Yes sir" they answer
You all start walking towards the new spot.
As you walk away "work for me" echoed in your head. This was it. This, this is your life now. A killer working for an infamous wanted legend. Well that's how it was when you worked for Zalgo but that's besides the point. The point is now Zalgo will be furious.
