Reinne glance at her phone one more time before starting the engine. Its been eight hours since Hayden called to tell her that he arrived in one piece and its 10 in the morning and not a single message or call from him. Considering the 12 hour difference, he could be asleep but still he told her that he will call every hour. She can't help worry but think of all the scenarios that could happen since Hayden's not answering.

"Stop glancing at your phone every second," Jubileen snapped. "We could crash into some car. Who's call are you waiting anyway?"

"Hayden's," Reinne sigh as she drive towards the mall. She received a text from Jubileen 30 minutes ago saying that there's an emergency. As much as she want to just lay in bed, her friends comes first.

"Why? Where did he go?"

"Kurt had a heart attack, so, Hayden went back," Reinne glance. "By the way, what's the emergency?"

"Yesterday, I went back to our alma mater in college with Francis. Do you remember him?"

Reinne nod. "Your nephew. Then, what happened next?"

"On our way home, we were waiting for a cab when out of nowhere my phone was snatched! Useless as shit, Francis wasn't able to catch him," Jubileen sigh and rub her forehead, as if she's stressed. "I'm 28 years old and my mother preached about the world longer that a priest."

"And here, I thought something bad happened to you," Reinne laugh at her friend. "At least, you now have a reason to change your phone. You've been itching to change it already. Maybe its a sign."

Jubileen nod. "Maybe."

"So, the reason you texted me and told me that its an emergency, was to tell me about this run in of yours with the snatcher," Reinne laid it out as she made a turn.

"Yup and to help me look for a phone," Jubileen added.

Reinne sigh. She ought to tell her the news but considering its April, Jubileen might mistaken it with as a joke. "Since, we are alone, I want to tell you something."

"What is it?" Jubileen glance at her while searching for a station in her radio. "Are you pregnant?"

Reinne pressed on the gas accidentally because of shock and they are lucky that they are driving by the curb. "How did you know?"

"What the hell is wrong with you?" Jubileen rub on her sore forehead that hit the volume knob when Reinne slammed in the brakes. It hurts like a bitch.

"I never told you," Reinne shrug. "At least not yet. So, how did you know?"

"Know what?" Jubileen ask, wondering what got into her friend that got her sputtering nonsense. "What are we talking about anyway?"

Reinne sigh. Damn, this is harder than she thought. She put the car on park and turn to her friend. "Jubileen, I'm pregnant."

Jubileen just stared at her and burst out laughing. What the fuck? That wasn't the kind of expression she hoped for. "That...was...very...original," She said in between laughs. "Saw that joke in 9gag better try harder."

"What are you...?" Reinne stop when she realise what Jubileen ment. April Fool's. Reinne sigh and grab Jubileen's shoulder and force her to look straight at Reinne. "Listen to me. I'm telling this to you one last time, Jub. Be serious!"
