I groaned as I opened my eyes, looking into the dark room. The only light was from the door, revealing the bright hallway. I stretched my arms, and threw my legs over the side of the small bed. I lightly hopped down, and walked to the door, opening it slowly.

I yawned as I climbed down the stairs, slowly waking up. The TV was on, and it would flip channels every so often. I turned into the living room, smiling as I saw Rick upside down on the couch watching the TV.

He looked up at me, and smiled back. "Afternoon princess." He said, causing me to blush.

"I'm still getting used to the whole... eighteen year old Rick..." I chuckled nervously.

"Yeah, same." He chuckled. "I forgot how bad teenage hormones were..." He returned back to the Tv with a smile.

I sat next to him, watching some stupid show that was just a guy staying "Uhh..." to the camera nonstop. I shook my head and chuckled, as Rick began dying of laughter. He rolled off the couch, and stood back up to sit the normal way, placing his arm around my shoulder.

I blushed slightly as he continued to flip through channels.

"You're adorable when you blush." He smiled.

I blushed harder.

"Haha, I love how easy it is to turn you into that beautiful shade of pink." His smile widened. "I better be the only one who can do that..."

I rolled my eyes and smiled, my face returning to its normal color. He flipped to a channel about this place called Night Vale, showing a man in a recording booth, holding his phone with a smile.

There are no spoilers to Welcome To Night Vale.

"Oh perfectly imperfect Carlos..." He sighed happily.

"Were back on in two!" A girl with brown hair said, rushing into the room.

The man nodded and flipped his phone to a contact, names Carlos with many, many hearts. He pressed the call button, but quickly hung up with a dark blush.

"Welcome back, Night Vale-"

His phone rang.

"LISTENERS!" He squeaked. "Perfect haired Carlos is calling! Should I answer?! Oh! I'm going to do it!"

"C-Cecil?" Carlos asked frantically.

"Oh, what could amazing Carlos want?" He asked lovingly.

"Cecil, everyone's... Everyone's zombies... Cecil I don't know what to do..."

"Oh, they do that sometimes." Cecil shrugged. "Would you like to have lunch perfectly amazing Carlos?"

"What?! Cecil I would love to, but the streets are full of Zombies!" Carlos shrieked.

"I'll see you at 12!" Cecil smiled, hanging up the phone.

"He's an idiot..." I sighed.

"But his voice is freaking amazing..." Rick said.

"God I wish I had a relationship like those two..." I sighed.

"Okay, perfect, wonderful (Y/N). Explain to me what I'm doing different then those two in a real life circumstance?"

I blushed and chuckled. "I'm not sure..."

"Why don't we go somewhere?" He asked. "You ever drink before?"

I shook my head. "Never."

"Not even a sip?"

I shook my head again.

"Jesus, to you I must be very horrible..." he chuckled.

"Rick, you're an alcoholic. To anyone you're bad." I smiled.

"Fine, fine." He smiled while getting off the couch.

He held his hand out, and I grabbed it with a blush. He twirled me into his chest, and then shot a portal. He spun me into the portal, landing me on a chair in a fancy restaurant. Rick came through, walking to his chair, and clapped his hands twice.

A waiter appeared with two menus, but Rick declined, saying that he knew what I needed in that moment. I cocked my eyebrow, and he began to chuckle. The area was full of the cat like creature, maybe he was like an entire species or something...

"SQUANCHY!" Rick said.

"Rick?!" Squanchy replied, rushing over to our table. "Oh, and the squanchy (lovely) lady (Y/N)!"

"Hello Squanchy." I smiled.

"How did he land someone as squanchiful (beautiful) as you?"

Rick rolled his eyes, causing me to laugh. I met Ricks gaze, and it made butterflies fly in my stomach. There was a girl with her Brest basically out of her right dress, and yet Ricks eyes were glued onto mine.

It wasn't like I was wearing anything special anyway, it was just a baggy sweatshirt and bootcut jeans. His smile on his face turned softer, and more understanding. I nervously played with my hair as squanchy chuckled.

"You two are so cute..." he said. "I better get back to my girl..."

I heard his soft footsteps leave the table, and a human waitress with a tight, short shirt came to bring our drinks. Ricks eyes stayed on me as the girl left with a huff.

"Not even a glance." I said amazed.

"Why would I need a glance when I have all I need in front of me?" He asked, causing me to turn red.

"How do you know exactly what to say every time?" I said. "It's kinda unfair..."

"Oh please." He rolled his eyes. "Years of physiology training darling. Besides, why would I say anything if it weren't a proven fact?"

"Are you seeing how red my face could get?" I asked, covering my face with my hands.

"Oh, don't hide from me!" He said almost like a child. "How will I ever survive without seeing you're beautiful face?"

"Rick..." I said, trying so hard to be mad, but my damn smile wouldn't allow me to. "I know two things. One, I love you..."

I removed my hands from my face.

"I love you too." Rick smiled. "What was the other one?"

"You already said it." I smiled, taking a sip of my drink. "Holly crap this is good."

He bit his lip and shook his head, his face turning into a smirk. "I love you so much (Y/N)."

"Damn straight you do." I said playfully.

He chuckled as the food came over.

He was right.

The food was freaking delicious.
