"Dad, you're back so soon!" Beth said, smiling as we walked through the portal.

"Yeah..." he chuckled, rubbing the back of his head. "They kidnapped (Y/N), and well... I guess she was a lot of help..."

She sighed in relief. "I was worried something happened to you... I felt horrible for making you walk home... I should have-"

"It's fine Beth." I smiled, shaking my head. "I'm fine."

"Good," she said, "I'm making dinner, so just sit tight, okay?"

We both nodded and she walked into the kitchen, as Morty walked downstairs. He gave a small wave, and walked into the living room. Summer was sitting at the dinning table, texting someone on her phone.

"How's the nark?" Summer asked.

"Tammy?" Rick chuckled. "She's gone."

"Good," Summer replied, "I can't believe I was friends with her..."

"Were friends with a lot of people who turn out to be assholes. That's just life." I shrugged, taking my seat at the table.

"I hope I'm not one of them." Rick smirked.

"No, you are way above that level." I replied teasingly.

He rolled his eyes, his smirk only growing. Suddenly, another green portal opened on top of the table, and another Rick popped out.

SCREW YOU I REFUSE TO ADMIT THAT EVIL RICK IS DEAD. FIGHT ME.

He had a scar over his lip, and pure rage in his eyes. He curled his hand into a fist, and knocked Rick onto the floor, breaking his nose. He picked my Rick up by his collar, and was about to punch him again, before I slammed my fists onto the table.

"Let go." I growled.

"Never took you as someone who would keep someone like her as a bitch~" The other Rick grinned evilly at my Rick.

I punched his chest, hard. It hurt my hand, but that didn't matter. I heard a few cracks, and the Rick fell to the floor wheezing. I held my hand against my chest.

"Call me bitch again..." I said, "and I'll do way more than injure you."

A Morty with an eyepatch stepped through another portal, and dragged the injured Rick out without a word. Rick turned to me, his nose gushing with blood, and wiped it as if it was nothing.

"You alright?"

"I think I broke my hand..." I chuckled. "You?"

"As long as you're okay, what could possibly be wrong?"

I blushed. "Staaaaappphhh..."

"Your hand is bleeding terribly..." He said. "Come on, lets go get that thing healed."

Narrators POV

In a matter of seconds, and a needle to the neck, her  entire body was healed. Rick smiled as she stared amazed at her hand.

"I've never been able to crack a healing potion!" She smiled.

"It's easy when you have the right materials."

"Your nose-"

"Will be healed soon, don't worry." He shook his head. "Why do you worry so much?"

"Because I love you..."

"But why?"

"I..." she paused. "Rick I can't get you out of my damned head. I love hearing your voice, hearing you speak, hearing your footsteps... I love everything about you..."

"Love is just a chemical-"

She pulled him into a kiss, but stopped before he had a chance to react. "The only thing Chemical, is my romance."

"Did you just-"

"If I tell you, will you go to a disco and panic?"

"I'm leaving-"

"Don't Fall Out the window Boy!"

"You have successfully pulled off the Emo Trinity puns. I'm disappointed in you."

"Me too." I laughed.
