Young black teens idolize women who who have that 'slim thick figure' Not even understanding that (most) of these women paid to make their bodies look that way

I can't tell you how many times I've seen a post or heard a girl say
I wish I was thick, wait till I get thick, when I glow up imma get thick

Ok let's say you do get "thick" then what..... boys will over sexualize your body almost everyday and you'll receive unwanted attention from grimey men and pedophiles

Before being "thick" was a trend thick women were considered fat

From elementary school to six grade I was made fun of for having chubby thighs and it made me insecure
I wanted to be skinny so bad in six grade I exercised everyday for a month thinking I would be skinny the next month (boy was I dumb💀)
but it was for all the wrong reasons and I would cry and get frustrated because I still looked the same afterwards

Back then boys wouldn't even look my way
But now since it's a trend
guys are making slick comments about my butt and thighs giving me attention I didn't ask for

This just shows how messed up society is one day it wants one thing and the next day wants another
Your body is unique and beautiful don't let anybody tell you other wise

Don't be easily influenced.
Most of of these Instagram models or celebrities have paid money to fit societal standards that shouldn't exist
And these women who have had work done were previously petite or skinny
No one is exempt from the pressure of society not even celebrities but it's up to you if you want to fall under the pressure or not
