It had been three days since that happened but I still get embarrassed every time I remember it. Every bit of my body tingles as I recall everything that has happened between me and Alexander. For three years, I have been fantasizing and dreaming to even just stand next to Alexander, but what happened that night was beyond everything I had ever imagined!

For the past days, I felt like I was floating. I'm so happy I feel like I'm heaven. It felt like a dream. Did we really talk? Did he really wink at me? It's not a dream, was it? No, it was not a dream! I was unable to sleep that night so it's impossible that it's a dream.

Every morning, I find myself smiling like a crazy cat while hugging the bottled water he gave me. It's a reminder that what happened was true. It's the source of my happiness these days.

"Melissa, will you walk faster? Don't space out in the middle of the hallway." Tony snapped.

Walking to our next class every now and then really makes me feel tired. I shook my head as I tried to get back to reality and caught up with my friends. Maybe the reason why I am a little over weight is that I am super lazy. I should consider exercising once in a while.

"Mel, I love your brows. You should teach me how to do that soon." Erika said out of the blue.

"Yeah soon." I answered with a smile.

My brows are the only thing that is perfect on my face. It should be since I spend thirty minutes every day to just make them. I don't actually go out of the house without filling them up because I look like a whole different person without them – I honestly look like an alien without them.

Wait. speaking of brows, by the time that I encountered Alexander, did I fill in my brows?

No! I was not even wearing decent clothes or had a decent smell! The thought makes me want to cry. I was dirty, smelly, and uglier than usual when he saw me. Crap! What a great way to meet the man of your dreams.

Why do I am just so unlucky?!

I close my eyes and exhale. I grab a bunch full of hair and tug it again and again. I am such a failure! Why was I born like this? I hate myself!

Someone grabs my hand and pulls me. I scream and is about to punch the idiot who dared to touch me. My hand stops mid-air as I saw the person who pulls me.

"Alexander." I utter.

"Hi." He says with a wide smile on his face. "Hey put that hand down. Is that really how you greet people?" he says as he touches my clinch fist.

"Y-you pulled me. I thought I was abducted or something."

"Really? That's interesting." He chuckle. "Do you also study here?"

"Yeah." I manage to answer. His hand is on my arm. I'm standing close to him once again. When have I've been lucky? I look at his eyes – his mysteriously beautiful grey eyes. I never thought I'll have another chance to look at these eyes this close once again.

"That's great!"

"Yeah."

"I need to go. It's great to see you again. See you around, Melissa." He taps my shoulder and walks away.

I am left standing with my heart pounding like crazy, with his voice ringing in my head. He called my name! I cannot believe it but he really called me by my name. He remembers my name!

I stand there looking at his back with a smile on my face, yet another surprise from Alexander. He never really fails to make my heart crazy.

During lunch, Tony and Erika demands me to explain what happened between me and Alexander at the hallway. They can't believe that we talked and smiled at each other, I can't either. I was admiring that man from afar for three years and now, we finally talked – they can't get over that fact.

I narrated the story about how I met him at the convenience store and the things we talked about at the hallway.

"He's really a good person. Just like what the rumors say." Tony says after my story.

"I know right. He's handsome, rich, intelligent, athletic, and now helpful. Does he have any negative side? How come a person like him exists?" Erika agrees.

"Well, he really do exists." I say with a smile.

Yeah they are right. No matter what angle you look at it, Alexander de Vera is flawless inside and out. Just like what Erika said, he is drop dear gorgeous, filthy rich, consistently on the dean's list, he is also the ace player of the university basketball team, and just recently I had witnessed that he is a very helpful person. How come a person like that is true? He is just too good to be true.

"Mel?" Erika calls me.

"Hmm?"

"What do you think about being the basketball team's manager?"

"What?!" a cough escapes my throat.

"You see, they are looking for a new manager. Maybe you are interested."

"No way!" I blurt.

"Oh well, were just thinking that maybe you like the idea. Alexander is graduating this school year and after that you might never see him again. So we thought spending time with him for his remaining time in the university might make you happy."

The thought of not being able to see Alexander bought a bitter taste in my mouth. I actually had thought about it but there is nothing I can do. We study in the university to graduate and eventually leave to be a productive member of the society. Alexander is graduating and it is bound to happen and I don't have any plans to do something about that.

"Yeah. This year, the position is open for students as well. Isn't that great? It's like the destiny is doing its way to help you with Alexander." Tony says as well.

"Shut up!"

"Just think of it this way, you're getting close to Alexander and earning money as well. It's like hitting two birds with one stone!"

"Gezz guys. I won't do it!"

"Well, just in case you change your mind, we already filled and passed the form for you. The interview is tomorrow morning at their office. We already did everything and all that's left to do is for you to go there and finish the interview and that's it."

I get speechless. I don't know if they are the best or the worst friends ever.
