In the end, despite Mika's startling revelation and the serious discussion that followed, the lunch period concluded in a fairly peacefully manner with the five of them chatting about various subjects and eating their lunches.

Following the lunch break, classes carried on as per usual. At the end of the day; however, 3-A's rehearsals ended early as the class decided that they all deserved a break since they had all been working extremely hard for a prolonged period of time.

After saying goodbye to her classmates, Shizuka headed for the washroom to wash her hands. While making some signs to advertise their play, Yuki had accidentally spilled a jar full of glitter onto Shizuka's hands.

Because many students were staying back to prepare for the culture festival, muted chatter could be heard throughout the halls making the school seem livelier than usual. Despite this, when Shizuka arrived at the washrooms closest to her classroom, she had found that it was empty.

While Shizuka lathered her hands with soap, another student walked in. Habitually, Shizuka shifted her gaze to the doorway to see who was entering.

That's Mikoshiba Touko, isn't it? The delinquent in Fuu-chan's class.

Shizuka looked away and continued washing her hands.

Touko appeared visibly disgusted. "Ugh. It's you."

Although Shizuka wasn't sure why Touko was antagonistic towards her, she paid her no heed as she went on trying to remove the fine glitter particles stuck in between her palms and fingers.

When she saw the other not react, Touko made a displeased expression before walking over to the sink and reaching for the soap dispenser.

As she washed her hands, she suddenly caught sight of Shizuka's bandaged arms reflected in the mirror. Touko smiled disdainfully. "Nice bandages you got there. If people didn't know any better, they'd probably think you were actually hurt or something."

Shizuka continued to ignore her but complained in her heart. Why is everyone trying to provoke me lately? This kind of crass open harassment isn't even entertaining.

"Right, I forgot," Touko remarked in a voice dripping with sarcasm. "You were hospitalized last week, weren't you, Yoshino? Because of a tiny bump you got from "saving" Semi-san, the boyfriend whom you adore."

Only the sound of flowing water echoed in the washroom.

Growing more irritated at Shizuka's lack of response, Touko pushed on, "Did you enjoy it? Being treated as some sort of romantic heroine? Is that why you wrapped yourself in some extra bandages to earn pity points? They make real nice props."

What is this chick even on about?

"Mikoshiba-san, right?" Shizuka turned to meet Touko's face and then smiled amicably. "Thank you. I'm really touched by your words."

Touko blinked. "Huh?...What did you say?"

Shizuka looked down again and resumed washing her hands. "I know we haven't really interacted much but I find it very moving that you're so concerned about a student in a different class. While it is true that I was released from the hospital in good condition, I recently sustained another injury yesterday which is why I have these bandages here."
