Adeline's Reign

We meet again

Adeline walked around the village knowing something was wrong. She was good a telling that sort of thing. Adeline hated the Countryside. I mean could you blame her with all she had seen. Alot of people had gone missing from here and that interested her. That and the fact that it was always during the same time. She heard footsteps and pushed herself against the wall holding her breath. A figure walked past her and she gasped recognizing him immediately.
" Ianto Jones?" She asked in disbelief and her turned around his gun facing her. " Well if it isn't the alien we met on Gwen's first day, Rosa wasn't it?" He asked rasing an eyebrow. " What are you doing here?" She asked Ianto.
" our truck was stolen. What about you?" Ianto explained. " I'll let you in on a little secret Ianto, something isn't right in the Countryside." Adeline smirked as she pulled out her own gun. " What do you mean by isn't right? Are there Aliens?" He asked in confusion and Adeline shook her head. " People in this village have been going missing around this time of year every 10 years. It interested me slightly and it might not be Alien, but this whole place just feels off." Adeline admitted as she recalled the wrongness of the place. " What do you mean by that exactly?" He asked. " One of my powers is being able to tell when something weird is happening in the area or when something bad is happening and this place is almost overflowing me with that bad feeling." Adeline tried to explain, but she had a feeling it wasn't that helpful. " Is your name really Rosa Sterns it seems like a weird name for an Alien?" Ianto asked curiously. " Well it's a fake name, but my real name isn't much better in standards of Alieness." Adeline said with a laugh. " Then if you don't mind me asking what is your real name." He asked intrigued. " I'm sorry, but I don't trust you with that for now just call me Rosa now who else is with you?" Adeline asked sensing a new male presence join her, Ianto, and the other woman presence that she guessed was one of Ianto's friends. " Just me and Tosh why?" Ianto asked and she turned around just as a tranquilizer hit her neck.
" Carfentanil." Adeline confirmed taking the dart out of her neck. " Shouldn't you be knocked out if that was what that was?" Ianto asked.
" Not human remeber." She reminded and she looked around for the source her eyesight was blurry from the drug. " What are you if you can withstand what can knock out an elephant?" Ianto gaped. She turned around and was about to respond when she felt another prick on her neck and she had to lean against the building the nausea overwhelming her as she was struck once more. " Is that really the most important thing right now?! What I want to know is how they knew I wouldn't be dead from that drug." Adeline shouted the drug making her emotions on edge. She felt one last prick before she collapsed unconscious. When she woke up she was in some kind of building with Ianto and the Japaneses woman she guessed was Tosh.
" Where are we?" Adeline asked wanting to rub her head, but couldn't because of the handcuffs around her wrists. " It's good to see you up as for where we are I have no idea." Ianto answered as Tosh looked for a way out. " Can you do anything to knock down that door or are your powers strictly mind based?" Tosh asked her. " I could if I didn't have these handcuffs." Adeline said looking at her hands sadly. " You need your hands to use your powers." Tosh said not believing what she was saying.
" No it's the metal, it messes with my powers. If I tried something I'd probably end up hurting you two or hurting myself or possibly nothing at all." Adeline informed wishing they had just tied her hands. " Better not then." Ianto said. It was about 5 minutes later when a woman came and Ianto had moved to attack her, but Adeline held him back. " You're here to take us to your boss right." Adeline guessed. " You're a smart one, but please follow me or I will be forced to shoot." The woman threatened. They were lead building and in a room that ranked of human flesh. " Only in the Fucking Countryside." Adeline said disgusted looking at the bags of human flesh hanging. " What are those?" Tosh asked. " It's human flesh these people have been killing the village folk." Adeline put together. " Oh I like that one." A man grinned looking straight at her and she shuddered uncomfortable with the look he gave her. Ianto had attacked him, but that only resulted in him getting handcuffed and Tosh tied up. He had pulled out another man saying they were all just meat. " get ready to run, both of you." Adeline said waiting for him to get close. He came over to Tosh talking about tenderizing meat and when he approached her she kneed him in the groin hard and he doubled over. Tosh and Ianto ran, but the woman grabbed her throwing her roughly onto the floor. The man had recovered enough at that point to run after Tosh and Ianto. The woman grabbed her gagging her mouth before tying a bag tightly around her head before knocking her out. When she woke up it was to Ianto's voice. " Where's Rosa, what have you done with her." And Adeline was shocked at the concern in his voice. She felt herself being dragged over and someone ripped the bag off her head. She blinked not used to the light and she noticed that Jack was missing. Her eyes went wide as the man grabbed a butcher's knife talking about making her bleed. It had only just cut her neck when the ground started to shake. The man had left her side to join the woman and Ianto ran over to her side. He untied the gag and freed her hands as Jack arrived in a vehicle shooting a shotgun. " Thanks." She mummered putting a hand on her now bleeding neck and started to heal herself. When the firing stopped he joined their group. " Rosa I see you've returned." he grinned. " I guess I'll be staying since avoiding you didn't really work." Adeline shrugged. " Jack let me question him, I've already called the police." Gwen said pulling him back. " Why question him, you've got a psychic now there's no need to." Adeline said bluntly. " What are you girly, it took three doses of Carfentanil just to knock you out and now I find out your a psychic too." He giggled psycoticly. " Are you sure you want to know Gwen." Adeline asked approaching him. " Please I have to know why." Gwen begged. Adeline sighed before putting her hands on his forehead and information flooded her head. " You're insane absolutely insane if you think you can work with him!" Adeline shouted a hint of fear in her voice. " Who was he working for?" Gwen asked confused. " I'm no more then you, the girl who in order to save herself sacrificed her sister, brother, and mother. psyhic connection goes both ways." The man laughed and Adeline shot him using her gun which immediately burned his brain cells. " You didn't have to kill him." Gwen said. " He was working with my father. Therefore he is dangerous and a threat to all of humanity so I killed him." Adeline shrugged trying not to show how much his words bothered her. " What was he talking about with your family?" Jack asked and she stiffened. " I'm not quite sure to be honest my mother and sister were both murdered by my father." Adeline said. " and your brother." Owen asked. " I changed his DNA so my father wouldn't kill him sent him to the planet Galifrey to live amongst the Time Lords." Adeline said. " So he died in the Time War." Jack put together looking at her sympathetically. " Time War?" Tosh asked and Adeline just gave them a sad laugh. " No of course not." Adeline grinned. " So he's not the last one then." Jack smiled and the others just looked at her confused. " Oh and Jack the name it's Adeline Corrine Jackson as for my race I'm the last one so there's not really use of me telling you unless you want to die permanently from via my father. I'll see you at your base." Adeline smiled and with that she walked out of the house.
