Adeline's Reign

A long over due history lesson

Adeline knew she was going to have to do this when she woke up, but she had hoped he wouldn't of asked it immeditley after she woke up. Which is why she now sat in the middle of the hub with everyone except Owen who is technically gone from Torchwood. " So now that everyone's here I might as well start with Corrine. Her full name is Corrine Marina Jackson there is only two of her left in this whole entire universe both impossible prisons so most likely you'll only meet her through me. She could do almost any power or thing you could think of, but specialized in time tricks." Adeline started. " So she's who you were born as." Jack commented. " It's who I grew up with. She's changed over years of solitude so much that you wouldn't of recognized her from her voice or personality. She was confident wasn't scared of anything and undyingly loyal." Aliyah smiled at her. " Then there was Ava Luna Sunset the one I had been the longest for I didn't meet The Doctor until much later in my life. She was perky, a very happy person and like all of my regeneration loyal above all which is something you should keep in mind. They all also have a main power Ava's being light. Then there was Laurel Ivory Winters she was probably my smartest regeneration and definitely the best liar. She could get herself out of any situation using her brain. She had magic as her main power and often liked being a mystery so you could never guess her next move. Acacia Clara Prince was my next form and she controlled air. She was very prim and proper always following the rules unless they cost her friends lies. You already met Faith Andrews, but for you guys who weren't really around her she controlled electricity. She thought she was unstoppable and there was no problem she couldn't solve which honestly often got her into more trouble then all, but the next regeneration who you've all met." Adeline smirked. " Let me guess Panic." Ianto smiled. " Yup I don't think I have anything to add to Panic.
Next was my youngest regeneration Ivy Willow Vine who went by Willow. She was very much like her power over nature. Very gentle and patient, but harsh when she needed to be. She had bright green hair that didn't fit her shy personality. Then there was Athena Shay Miller who rivaled Laurel in smarts. She was brilliant and excellent with computers. Though that was explainable since she controlled metal. She was very proud despite her kind and loyal traits. The last one I want to mention that I've been is Bella Jane Wane my earth controller. She was my first African American who barely spoke and when she did it was so quiet you couldn't hear her. What made up for it though was her strength. She had great control over her powers and she was able to use them a lot more then I can mine." Adeline admitted. " What exactly is your power?" Jack asked with a raised eyebrow. " Well I have telepathy, but all my versions have that to an extent. My main power is enhancement." Adeline informed. " Like the senses?" Aliyah asked. " As well as speed, strength, and smarts but yeah senses too. The last version of me that I know is Angelina who I only met once and us a future version of me. She'd a healer/protector and very kind. It was hard not to like her, but she was killed a year or so ago." Adeline explained with a wince recalling that time and Jack gave her a sympathetic look." What did you mean earlier when you said that you want to mention is there one you forgot?" Tosh asked and Adeline sighed her eyebrows furrowed as if the very thought of it pained her. " The version I was before Adeline wasn't a good version. In fact I would go as far as saying it wasn't even me really." Adeline frowned." She couldn't of been that bad." Aliyah assured her, but Adeline just shook her head. " Trust me she might of been the one I was the shortest, but she was horrible. She was born during the time war and I remember it all to well" Adeline griminced and before she could stop herself she was changing. Her hair darkened to a black, her eyes turned to a blood red, her skin paled dramatically, and her clothes turned into a black gothic dress. " Hi I'm Laria Cordelia Shadow I control darkness though most people referred to me as Psycho." Laria grinned crazily and they all gasped at the sudden change. " Why If I may ask did they call you that?" Jack asked and it sounded to her like he both wanted and not wanted to know that. " Because I was the whole reason the time war ended. They wanted the perfect weapon someone who was crazy enough to go against Daleks strong enough to defeat them yet was loyal to the Time Lords so they created me. Though that backfired seeing as the only Time Lord I wanted to help was The Doctor and while I trapped the planet in a time loop like The Doctor wanted I killed more then half of the Time Lord population. In my defense they were all self centered assholes and were so busy with their own world that they wouldn't help others." Laria scoffed and all of their faces turned to disbelief. " I don't believe you." Jack stated. " What you don't see the similarities? My main trait just like Adeline is Loyalty I just do whatever it takes to make sure that person is safe unlike her. Though I really don't see what she see in you." Laria frowned at Jack. " What are you talking about?!" Jack said wide eyed.
" You can't tell! Wow you really are stupid. Adeline likes you why else wouldn't she of liked to tell you about me." Laria laughed. " I'm starting to see why you're insane." Tosh commented. " If you weren't on the loyal list I would of killed you for that comment, but I'll let it slide for now. Anyway Adeline blames me on her father since the Time Lord's asked him to influence my traits and it has helped me grow to understand my father as well as my bitch of a sister." Laria sighed. " I thought you loved your sister." Aliyah stated confused.
" Oh she was great, too great if you asked me. The perfect daughter who never did anything wrong then allowed herself the easy way out and died leaving me to live the rest of my life in pain. If she really cared about me she would of let me die on my 20th birthday the day she died instead of sending me to a different planet." Laria said the hatred and envy strong in her voice. " So let me get this straight you want to die." Tosh stated.
" It'd get rid of all my problems and let's face it after all I've been through I deserve the peace death brings, but I can't or the whole world will turn extinct under my father's rule. So I'm stuck hiding my entire fucking life." Laria scoffed anger blazed in her eyes and Jack's frown seemed to lighten slightly. " So you do care about others." Jack pointed out. " As much as it may seem I don't want world anhilation. I only kill those who do those I care about harm. The comment earlier is because I truly don't know you yet and to be honest it's a defense mechanism so I don't have to deal with people." Laria shrugged nonchalantly. " I was right you're not so bad as Adeline said." Jack smirked.
" Just more lenient with killing then Addie and hurting others as well. Either way as much as I like being back, I have chaos to bring elsewhere." Laria grinned closing her eyes and Adeline returned and as always she passed out.

Hey I'm most likely not going to do a seperate chapter for A day in death. If you want me to tell me in the comments and I'll try to come up with something, but I figured this chapter was much needed and I really wanted to Introduce Psycho for when I get into my other book series. I will sat no more because of SPOILERS but I will update soon
