Adeline's Reign

The ups and downs of knowing everthing

Adeline looked around the Torchwood base slightly impressed. She had seen better, but it was impressive by earth standards.
" Welcome to Torchwood Three Adeline Corrine Jackson." Jack said as he entered behind her. " It's definitely impressive by human standards." Adeline admitted. " What are you comparing it to?" Jack asked. " The TARDIS of course. Though the dinosaur is a definite plus." Adeline cooed as the Pterodactyl landed by her allowing her to pet it. " That's weird I've never seen Myfanwy act that way with anyone." Ianto said looking at her curiously.  " Well I'm not just anybody, besides you have her name all wrong it's Petra." Adeline corrected. " How would you know?" Tosh asked. " Easy I speak Pterodactyl." Adeline shrugged. " Really we need a translator what else do you speak?" Tosh asked excitedly.
" What do you need translated?" Adeline asked knowing whatever it was she could translate it since she was her fathers daughter." How do you know you can translate it?" Gwen asked her voice came out more demanding then curious. " The TARDIS translates every language if I remember correctly, is it that?" Jack guessed and she shook her head with a laugh." No my species is good with languages and I'm billions of years old I've heard a lot. As for the TARDIS thing you have to be around it for that. Who did you here that from?" Adeline asked with a slight grin.
" One of The Doctor's companions told me, funny how I never knew her name." Jack laughed. " Where at I was probably with them at some point?" Adeline asked him. " Satalite 5." Jack responded and Adeline paled. " Right, um his companion was Rose." Adeline said trying to remeber that place.
" No it wasn't Rose the girl had just joined us that day." Jack frowned.
" Well then it must of been me sorry my memory of that night is fuzzy." Adeline sighed. " You?! You were there!" He shouted and she winced.
" What are you two talking about?" Gwen asked frustrated and Adeline gave her an apologizing look. " Right sorry Jack we will talk about this later for now I believe you need to go investigate a body." Adeline said. They left and she waited at the base for them to come back. They had come back with all this stuff with Aliens and she noticed Tosh was angry at both Owen and Gwen. " Its alright I can fix it just give me a moment." Adeline sighed walking over to the broken computer. " How?" Tosh asked. " I'm billions of years old I picked up a lot of things" Adeline shrugged. Tosh raised her eyebrow in disbelief. " What you have a lot of spare time to pick up hobbies when you're me." Adeline said her eyebrows raised slightly and with that Tosh moved over allowing her access. She opened the panel and took the box of tools. She messed around for a couple of minutes before wincing slightly. " You alright?" Tosh asked noticing the wince. " Yeah I'm fine, it's alright now. Though please be careful next time." Adeline confirmed. " Why if you can repair it in a snap of your fingers." Owen shrugged and Adeline gave him an annoyed look. " Because I'm not your personal server now I'm going back to explain everything to Jack since he deserves that much. Oh and for the record Tosh is right you're supposed to be doing a job. Now go." She commanded and the two got back to work. " Thanks, how did you do that." She gestured to Owen and Gwen.  " I like to call it Aphrodite's charm, but I have a power that makes me very persuasive and I can also make people do as I say. Take care Tosh I have to talk to Jack." Adeline sighed. " Thank you." Tosh smiled and she had the feeling they would get along well. " Hi Jack." Adeline greeted. " Satellite 5 you were there." Jack demanded. " Yeah you might of saw me I had light brown hair, gray eyes, tan skin." Adeline said listing the traits she had before she had to duplicate. " You changed?" Jack asked. " Well I couldn't stay the same after all there very well couldn't of been two of me." Adeline shrugged. " What do you mean?" Jack said confused.
" There is a version of me for every planet and one extra for traveling with The Doctor. The one traveling with The Doctor was the one you saw that day. I have her same memories, same attitude, the only difference is our apperance." Adeline explained.
" So why did you seem surprised about me knowing you and why didn't you recognize me?" He asked.
" I did something that night, something I wasn't supposed to. I knew it would be alright and so I did it to save everyone." Adeline recalled rubbing her head to try and remeber what happened. " What did you do?" Jack asked and that's where her mind blanked. " I don't remember Jack, apparently someone has erased my memory. That is why I didn't recognize you now if you excuse me I'll be back tomorrow.

Adeline leaned against the wall next to Tosh's computer not having her own work space. " That necklace where did you get it?" Adeline asked recognizing it immeditley as Alien. " A friend gave it to me, why?" Tosh asked and Adeline could hear her nervousness. " This friend of yours have you known her very long?" Adeline asked ignoring her question and Tosh gave her a questioning look. " No why?" Tosh asked her nervous tone rising. " Tosh I really hate to break it to you but this belongs to a race of aliens that uses telepathy as communication I believe your friend is an alien." Adeline informed. " I don't believe you." Tosh said stubbornly. " You have no reason to you don't truly know me and she might be a very nice girl Tosh. I'm just telling you what I know and from what I know they can change their apperance." Adeline said her voice in a warning tone. " How did you know it was a girl?" She asked. " Tosh a little advice for when you're trying to read peoples thoughts, control your own. Your thoughts are basically attacking me when you have that on it allows telepath comunication." Adeline told her and with that she left Tosh to discover the side effects to herself. It wasn't until she brought the alien to the base that Adeline decided to act.
" Why are you here?" She demanded narrowing her eyes. " Adeline this is my friend I told you about." Tosh smiled and Adeline knew she was trying to subtly tell her to be nice to the alien. " I know that still doesn't answer my question." Adeline pointed out. " Oh you smell different then them what are you." The alien purred. " Look I know what you are and why you are here so I'll give you one chance to return to your people or I'll have to force you." Adeline said closely as the others gathered.
" Adeline." Tosh shrieked clearly upset with her. " Oh you are smart though I'm guessing you are telepathic too. I do have one question. How do you plan on making me go?" She taunted and Adeline smirked.
" Easy teleportation now choice." Adeline said. " How about neither." The alien said and she dashed around and grabbed a knife before forcing it to her neck. " Mary please you don't have to do this." Tosh pleaded. " You killed your guard, you killed those people, but do you really have the guts to commit genocide." Adeline hissed using her race as an advantage. " I don't even know what you are so I can I be sure you aren't lying to save your life." Mary asked.
" Primidian now please let me go." Adeline said a hint of fear in her voice. " Oh your joking I've got the only Pure Primidian that's not Clorion or Delathorn. You are beautiful." She purred pulling the knife " Primidian?" Jack asked and she sighed. " They didn't know? Oh you bad girl. Now give me the transporter." Mary said and Jack came over. " You smell different, like her." Mary noticed as Adeline got up from Mary shoving her to the floor. She then was teleported to the sun and she went over to Tosh. " You'll have to explain everything to them Tosh and I'll be there to support you if you need it." Adeline assured her trying to be nice. " What was she talking about with Primidians and why do I smell like you?" Jack asked. " Primidians are the very first species ever to live. My mom was the first then she created Elorion the planet of the Primordials a race very close to our own married one of them then had me and my sister." Adeline started. " So your old." Jack summoned up. " 14 billion and 780 million years old to be exact. Either way after we were born we started creating planets when I was 10. So if you could imagine I know a lot about the aliens because I created everything on my own along with my sister because my mom was pregnant with my brother. He was born when I was 15 and my mom was killed by my father when I was 20. He killed my sister so I did the only thing I could I ran. Call me a coward, but I didn't want my brother to die. I placed him on the nearest planet then I fled creating the rest of the universe until I was fifty." Adeline told them sitting down knowing she was going to need it if they continued. " Why did you stop?" Gwen asked making her sigh.
" I am so going to get punished for telling you guys all of this, but I guess you deserve to know who and what you are working with. My father kiddnapped me, but not before I was able to duplicate myself on every planet. So to answer your question my father is stalking my every move supervising everything I say and do." Adeline explained. " Even right now." Tosh asked. " Especially right now, he's probably grinning his face off waiting for his chance till I'm alone so he can torture me. He hates my exsistence" Adeline said with a crazy grin and she knew they thought she was insane though she probably was. " Why hasn't your father killed you if he dosn't like you?" Owen asked bluntly and they glared at him. " It's fine he asked the right question. If my father killed me it would rip him in half so the best he can do is kidnap my original self for torture and watch me waiting until I do something he dosn't like so he can torture my other forms." Adeline explained. " So what about the other part of me smelling like you." Jack asked. " Well I smell like time vortex so unless you.." Adeline stopped grabbing her head with a gasp.
" Adeline?" Jack asked concerned.
" Oh so that's what happened on satellite 5." Adeline squeaked her head feeling very heavy as her brain put in the facts and her father had decided that moment to start mentally attacking her. " I am so sorry Jack, so so sorry." Adeline apologized and with that she passed out.
