The blossom tree,
With sweet flowers,
Sways above the little boy,
As he sings with joy.
He pauses,
The tree wonders what his cause is.
He yelled,
"I have no inspiration!"
And the tree bent over in an empathetic position,
And whispered in his ear,
"Rest on me while you nap for a while"
And he did so with a smile.
When the boy wasn't so little,
He had a girlfriend.
She broke up with him,
The blossom tree was the only one who could end his heart's suffering.
So the tree began to sing:
Take this blossom,
Once you have, you will see,
I am all you need to be happy.
He took the blossom,
And he was fine.
The boy was now an adult,
He had a wife and kids,
And lots of money.
He forgot about the tree,
And all that it did.
One day,
He bought an axe.
And swung it at the tree,
The whole neighborhood heard a big
SMACK!
With that smack,
And a few others,
The tree was down flat.
The tree let out a big sigh,
And it began to silently cry.
The man never noticed,
Not until,
His wife died.
When she was passed on,
The man couldn't move on.
He looked in his yard for the tree,
And at that moment,
He realized what he had done,
Couldn't be undone.
He ran to the stump,
And he cried,
"Blossom tree, are you there?"
And the tree managed to whisper:
Take all of me,
Once you have, you will see,
That I am all you need to be happy
The man cried in pain,
Realizing he caused the tree vain.
He took most of the wood,
Left a small and flat stump,
Took a marker and wrote:
I love you, relinquishing tree.
Sorry this chapter and the one before have been poems, I just kinda like writing poems now!!!! I promise that the next chapter will be what this book is supposed to be. I'll do Profile of the Day on there.
