She threw her phone onto the bed as she walked into his bedroom, his distinct smell hitting her right away. She hadn't gotten around to washing the sheets. It was 10:45 PM and Catherine had a pretty rough day. From yelling at two girls who were being annoying at the studio, to having to deal with Justin who was being a complete idiot with her.
He wasn't the one who had turned on his read receipts, he hadn't even noticed until he'd checked his phone after the last message Catherine had sent him. He knew he had to tell her what was going on, or at least part of it. It wasn't him that wanted to hurt her, but he sure did have to go with it.
