Fishing out the keys Jimin's mother dropped by the night before, Yoongi unlocked the front door of the house, entering.

Out of respect and for the sake of cleanliness, he took off his shoes, sauntering his way towards the door of the music room.

The house seemed silent. Maybe Jimin is still asleep, he thought before opening the grand glass doors.

His heart somewhat fuzzed at the sight he saw, stinging slightly with sadness when he saw food kept on a tray on a chair. Jimin's back was facing him, it looked like he was setting his head down on the piano keys.

Closing the door behind him, Yoongi approached Jimin, eyebrows furrowed in concern. A sigh left his lips seeing Jimin asleep, his head set on his arms on top of the keys.

"Aigoo..." he muttered, noticing Jimin was wearing the same clothes as yesterday, probably not having left the room since he last saw him.

Gently ruffling Jimin's hair, he said in a loud enough voice, "Yah, Jiminie, wake up."

He saw Jimin's eyes open slowly, blinking quickly before his eyes landed on Yoongi's. Straightening his back and stretching, Jimin let out a groan, his neck ached.

Another sigh came from Yoongi as he looked at Jimin with concern in his eyes, "Jimin."

Jimin hummed a reply, looking up innocently at Yoongi, rubbing one of his eyes.

Ignoring his heart clenching at the adorable sight, he used his most stern voice he could on Jimin and said, "Until what time were you practicing last night?"

Looking like a deer caught in headlights, Jimin visibly gulped. "I... don't know?"

"Be honest."

Sighing, Jimin averted his gaze in shame, "Two."

"What?" Flinching at the harshness in Yoongi's voice, Jimin couldn't bring the courage to look at the man in his eyes.

Letting out a breath, Yoongi lowered his tone into softness again, "Jimin, look at me."

With hesitant movements, Jimin finally met his eyes with Yoongi's which held nothing but a warmth glint of comfort.

"Don't overwork yourself," he softly spoke making Jimin lose all thoughts except the soothing gaze that was on him. "Take care of your health before everything else. Losing yourself is worse than losing your skill, okay?" The amount of sincere sadness in Yoongi's voice brought a weight in Jimin's heart.

With a bare of a nod, Jimin hummed affirmatively, sadly looking into Yoongi's eyes. "Did you...?" he started, not really wanting to force the other to answer.

Fixing his eyes now on the piano keys, Yoongi pressed some in random as he answered, voice in a hush, "Yeah. But... it wasn't like this... not exactly."

Sighing for the nth time, Yoongi offered a smile, giving Jimin a side glance, "Well, it doesn't matter, right now. I'll tell you some other day, maybe. First things first, you have to eat."

Following where Yoongi was pointing at, Jimin's eyes widened seeing the tray of food on the chair. "Mom... brought it for me last...! Gosh, I'm such a terrible child," mumbling to himself, Jimin scrambled off the bench and towards the chair where his dinner from the previous night was.

It was his favorite type of soup- realizing that his mom made his favorite, his eyes dulled into guilt.

A comforting hand on his shoulder, he glanced up at Yoongi- since he was kneeling on the floor to be on the food's level- and saw his lips curved slightly upwards.

"Warm it up and eat it, first. You haven't eaten in more than seventeen hours, I'll even make you something. Come on," he said, ruffling Jimin's soft fluff of blonde hair.

With a bright relieved smile, Jimin nodded, finding the gentle weight on top of his head soothing to the ache in his heart.

"Okay."
