When I am with you
You feel it too
That home is where the heart is
Yeah we are just kids
I know that so well
But I never told
That when I am with you
When you are in my hold
That the world is no more
And you are my home
When the forest which within we walk
Mother natures creations talk
As we gently move through the forest
The sound of the creek behind us
As you make a fuss
Because the thunder is too loud
But I make sure you stay proud
A flower upon your ear
To keep you from fear
You run around
A sight so profound
As you near your final lap
The rain no longer taps
Slowly becoming more gentle
Like the feeling of your fingers on my skin
There will be no sin
You told me so many times
To tell you the rhymes
Of the day it rained
As if it were famed
You clung to me
And I could see
You didn't want to be
On your way home
Which upon the ending of our day
I wish we would say
I'm finally home
For my heart was there with you
And in your arms
No matter where we are
May it be farms
Or somewhere not so far
You
Will always make me feel like I'm home
So now as I write this
Birds chirping at the sunrise
I hope that you won't miss
The sudden surprise
Of a flower on your ear
And your flower in my heart
