Polaroid Perfection

Golden rays
Above blue ocean
Giving the notion
Of Polaroid perfection
With which I hold no correction
Late night hours spent
On the things I meant
With the few words said
Wish my mind you read
Classic rock
Songs of heart lock
Can they be about me
Do those lyrics
Make you think of me
I wish I could see
Where I sat within the confines of your mind
I hope the position is kind
With that Polaroid camera
A flash to remember
Will your heart surrender?
Printing picture
Intoxicating love elixir
Will a photo develop
With me and you
In some odd and loving moment
Dancing to shitty love songs
With hardly any wrongs
Memorize pale skin
With a lovers hymn
Can we memorize each other
Never forget one another
Like a picture from your Polaroid
Cold coffee in cold pale hands
With which a timid structure she stands
Beauty in the waves of the ocean
Giving off a mystical notion
A mystery I want to solve
I want to be the sailor of that ocean
In it's beautiful motion
And it's stormy moments
I want to explore
To the very core
My yearning leaving me sore
Will you give me the tour
Of soft pale skin
Free of sin
Innocent lovers
I wish to be
Because you're the key
To the light
Which I've had not the blessing of sight
Pray to be free of the dark
Stupid, awkward remark
From within my heart
To get you to laugh
Can we cross a path
Meet at a crossroad
And embark together
Upon melting hearts forever
Yet all these words
From the singing birds
Of my heart
Aren't enough, still
To explain
How insane
You make my heart beat
Simply by having a seat
Right next to me
I wish you could see
How electric your presence is to me
A walk to the car
On burning hot tar
Hot autumn day
Wish I could say
All that was on my mind
Which is why those words
Sit within the herds
Of this length poem
Ghosts dancing within the cold night
With no fright
Free from the past
Moving too fast
They sit in my mind
They're the ghosts of what can be
Will you be with me
And as this poem closes
Dancing in the roses
My heart is melting
I wish I could tell you
That for you I am mad
Which makes me rather sad
To think those cotton candy day dreams
Let me elaborate the feeling

The feeling of you is like cotton candy
A sugary wisp of air
Dancing effortlessly
You know, the pink sugar strings
Making effortless rings
Ready to be collected
Compacted
All those wispy sugar things.
You'd know it if you saw it
Let's go to the fair and go see
Me and you
And I will show you
That those ghost like sugar strands
Are what it feels like
To think of you
Those wisps dancing around every vein
Through my heart and to my brain
And for once
I hope to collect it
Form it
Place it
In my hands
Show you the strands
Pick it apart
Show you how sweet
You make me feel

Thank you
For you
