Maybe when you're older
And the winters seem colder
Never forget who you are
With every depression scar
Let the sun shine on your blood soaked sheets
Staring at all of these empty and lonely seats
Bare your pain with pride
Never take a side
Love often
Within an oak coffin
Friends come and go
But just you know
Every single detail
From their skin so pale
Every laugh stuck in mind
Every smile so kind
You'll never forget the best in a friend
Even to the very end
Lovers are temporary
I know it's scary
But you'll be ok
Just never say
You'd loved and never been loved
Because there's a whole world out there
And I know you care
You care what all those hearts have to say
But not all in one day
I know you'd want to try
But I know you want to cry
Please keep your head up high
Because one day that big heart
Will always be a part
Of a story to tell
So give em hell
