Ezra stood beside Kanan, Hera, Zeb and Sabine outside their house.
It was eleven in the morning and they were waiting for Kallus.
Ezra and Sabine were a little nervous about meeting their new uncle, but still excited.
Ezra jumped slightly when he felt something grab his shoulder and looked over. He saw Sato sitting on his shoulder and he scratched the bird's neck.
"Sato seems taken to you Ezra" Hera remarked.
"I've always gotten along well with animals" Ezra replied.
Sato ruffled his feathers.
"Oi. Back off bird" Scales said appearing on Ezra's shoulder.
The bird squawked at the snake who replied with a hiss.
"Now now you two. Back down" Ezra soothed the competitive animals.
Sato seemed to roll his eyes and flew to Kanan's shoulder
Scales stuck out his tongue to the owl.
A blue Mercedes pulled up the drive.
"There he is" Hera said as the engine shut off.
The door opened and a man stepped out.
He had blondish brown lox, the same coloured facial hair and brown eyes. He was wearing a hoodie, jeans and boots.
"Hello Kallus" Kanan greeted giving his brother a hug.
"Hey Kanan" Kallus smiled.
Hera gave the man a hug too.
"Good to see you again Hera" Kallus said.
Zeb gave Kallus a one armed hug and Kanan's brother looked at the two children standing shyly beside their parents.
Kallus crouched down in front of the Bridger siblings.
"So you two must be Ezra and Sabine? The two new additions to the family?" He asked.
Ezra and Sabine nodded.
Kallus then noticed Scales.
"This your snake Ezra?" He asked.
"Yeah. This is Scales. I've had him for a few weeks" Ezra replied.
Kallus nodded with a smile before straighting.
"Come inside Kallus. There's a lot we'll need to catch up on" Hera said.
"Sounds good" Kallus agreed and followed his family inside.
