"Come on, mom, tell us!"

"Please?"

Annabeth sat down on the couch, and looked at her two children. "Alright, alright. So, it all started when I slammed the door in your father's face."

FLASHBACK

Oh my god, I can't do this. I can't do this.

"Hey, my mom is here. Thanks for inviting me over!" Percy said.

I looked up at him nervously. "Yeah! No problem! Here, let me walk you out."

"My mom, is here too," Leo said. I gave him a look, and he immediately shut up. He rushed past me, yelling a goodbye and left.

I laughed nervously, and followed Percy out the door. He was walking away when I called out.

"Uh, Percy!"

He turned around, and I waved him back. "What's up?"

"I...I uh....I need to tell you...um..."

He noticed how nervous I seemed and laughed a bit. "You can just text me later-"

"No! No, i need to tell you now, or I'll never be able to do it," I said.

"Okay. Shoot."

"Well, we've been friends for a while now...and I've kinda- oh my god, I can't do this, can you just...turn around?" I asked. Jesus Christ Annabeth.

"Sure," Percy turned around, but I still couldn't do it.

"Oh my god, just face me actually! I'm gonna close the door a bit, so just listen okay?"

Percy chuckled but did as I asked.

"So...I've kinda...I've had this... oh god... okay I'm just gonna say it. I've had this crush on you for a while, and I just thought you should know."

I saw him through the crack in the door, and he was still, not saying a word.

"Oh my god!" I felt like I was going to cry.

"I'm sorry, I just-"

Percy pushed the door open, and gave me a hug. I felt the tears prick my eyes, and I pushed him away, and then slammed the door in his face.

Well. That went...great.

A: I'm okay, it could have been worse. At least he gave me a hug.

T: He's such an asshole. You will find better than him, Annie.

A: Yeah. Gtg, bye.

I shut off my phone, and laid on my bed. I rubbed my eyes, trying to push away the heartbreak.

"I'm so stupid," I sobbed.

Buzz buzz ding

I looked down at my phone and saw a message.

Btw I sort of already knew someone told me and I did to

"What?" I said, looking down at the notification. I pressed down onto it, and replied Who told you? And what do oh mean 'I did to'?

Three little bubbles came up.
