Prom is tonight. Everyone was ready and on go for the festivities about to take place. Nicki had her dress laid out with her accessories and shoes.
"Onika" her mom says walking into the room.
"Ma'am" she answers.
"Be careful tonight. I know a lot will be going on downtown. And make sure Caiah doesn't get into too much trouble. I want you two to have fun but not too much fun." She says making Nicki laugh.
"We'll be safe" Nicki says reassuring her mother.
"When will Calvin be over?"
"Around 5:30" she answers.
"Okay." She says and leaves. Nicki puts in her headphones to listen to music.
Drake was playing his play station when Kat interrupted him.
"Drake have you seen a blue bag that was sitting on the kitchen table yesterday?"
"No"
"Are you sure?" She asks.
"Yeah. What it have in it?"
"My prom makeup" she says.
"Uhhh" he says trying to stay alive in his game. "Check back by the front room" he says. She walks off and yells "thanks!" Drake keeps feeling his phone going off and stops in the middle of his game to see what it was.
Kat walks back in the room for her purse and looks at Drake.
"Uh oh, what's wrong?" She asks. Drake just laughs. Kat continues to be nosey and looks at the screen of his phone.
"Damn" she says. "What you gone do?"
"Nothing. Prom is tonight" he says. "After prom I will handle it" he says. "Don't say anything to anyone" he says. She just nods and goes back up to her room. Drake gets back to his game.
His mom then walks in.
"Don't you have to go get your rental car?"
"Not yet. It's too early" he says.
"Where is Kat? It's almost time for her hair and makeup appointment "
"Leaving out now" she says coming down the stairs. Her mom hands her $200 and she precedes to leaving.
"Drake I like the haircut you have" his mom says.
"Thanks" he says.
"I can't wait to see you and Alexis and Kat and Myles" she says happily. "Your dad will be over around 6 to see y'all before you leave" she says.
"Aight" he says ending his game. He checks his pockets for his wallet and keys. "See you later" he says leaving.
By the time he came back with his rental car (Beamer) he had to pick up his suit and then pick up Alexis crisaugeé.
Nicki was just done with her makeup and hair appointment. She goes home and starts to get dressed before Calvin shows. Her mom walks into her room as she sprays her perfume on herself.
"Aweee!!! You look so cute!!" She says coming up to her. Nicki smiles.
"Thanks mama"
