I look at you
While you laugh
With a look of adoration
In my eyesYour head thrown back
Your eyes twinkling
And your hands
Clutching your chestYour lips, so red
The ones I'd die to kiss
But alas
Never canYour skin, so smooth
With freckles scattered all over
That you despise
And I adoreYou catch me staring
And softly smiling
And asked me what
I tell you it's nothing, while it is everythingBecause your lips are not mine to kiss
You skin not mine to caress
Your heart not mine to love
Your mind not mine to marvelSo I let you go
Because your not mine to love
Though it kills me inside
Your happiness is worth tenfold more than mine
