Heart eyes and jumpy nerves

sweaty skin and faltering smiles

I stare at you from afar

wondering how much more I have to give

You may love me, you may hate me

you could curse me, you could despise me

but I'll be here standing with a smile

arms outstretched to greet you inside

I gave you my heart, my soul

my love, my pride, my strenght

I gave you my thoughts, my mind all that I am

And all I ask darling, is that you don't throw it away

I gave up my courage and I have no woes

other than to tell you these words with my own mouth

to tell of my tears and my smiles

of my adoring eyes and my fits of laughter

It's a tale with no ending

a tale I wished to dedicate to you

A tale with smiles and joy

and a happy ending for you

but the story took a shift

when I fell in love

but I had nothing to give you

except all my love and all that I am

but you throw it back

and I come again and again

until you finally tear out my heart
